Joico is a brand that I recently tried through ChickAdvisor when I tried out the Zero Heat hair cream. I recently got sent another Joico product from ChickAdvisor, the Defy Damage treatment. I’ve been using it for about a week, and thought I’d share my quick thoughts!
The thing I love the most about this product is the ease of use. You distribute a small amount to your hair (avoiding roots) right before bed, and bam! You’re done! While using this I did notice my hair softer, shiner and smoother. I wouldn’t say this would completely save your hair if you have very very damaged ends, but it does help. My ends have been slightly frizzed and this did make a difference.
I also really love the smell. For some it may be a bit strong, but I really love the ‘fresh salon shampoo’ smell it gives.
The pump bottle makes it easy to dispense into your hand, and I easily integrated this product in my night time routine. If your hair is looking for a pick me up or have damaged ends, I’d definitely recommend this.
The one thing about Joico is that I find some of the products slightly hard to find. This is a new product, but wasn’t able to find it very easily online to get a price. It looks like this retails for around $30 which seems somewhat pricey. Even at that price, I would still recommend this. Since I did notice a difference in my hair, I’ll definitely be using this up!
