With 2020 being the year it has been I’ll be honest, I think it’s been close to a year since I’ve been to the dentist. It was perfect timing when I was sent the Bruush Electronic Toothbrush to try. I have never consistently used an electronic toothbrush. When I lived with my parents they had one (it was this one that had these interchangeable heads for each person) but it never caught on for me. I was very curious to see how this one would compare!
Overview:
A great electric toothbrush that keeps my teeth super clean.
Price:
$95 CAD

Rambling Review:
The Bruush (pronounced Broosh, only figured that out when I saw Kevin Hart advertising it) has six different modes:
- Daily
- White
- Gentle
- Gum
- Max
- Tongue
All are pretty self explanatory. I’ve been mostly using Daily, but have used the rest of the modes as well. I would say I have decently sensitive gums. I had a gum graft a few years back (some of my gums were receding and they need to cut off some of my top gum palette to refill it). The Daily mode is perfect for me. My gums never bleed and I felt like my teeth were getting an extremely good clean. It was definitely noticeable compared to my manual brush.
One thing I really liked about the Bruush compared to any other electronic toothbrush I’ve looked at is the brush head. I like that it looks like a manual toothbrush being longer and thinner. The old one my parents used to have was that circular brush head which I actually found a bit uncomfortable.
The charging is convenient too . It has a USB wireless charging stand. On a single charge you can get up to 4 weeks it says on the website. I actually got closer to 6 weeks which isn’t bad at all!
The $99 CAD price gets you the charger, base, two brush heads, and a carrying case. I think it’s pretty reasonable actually for the quality of the toothbrush. They have a brush head refill program where they ship you three brush heads every 6 months for $18. That honestly feel that seems like a bit too much for me. I know hygienically it seems you are supposed to switch your brush head that often, but…yeah.
And last but not least, let me say on the * a e s t h e t i c * of it all. I love the colour and the just overall look of it. I know it’s not the only thing to a toothbrush, obviously, but it doesn’t hurt! They have a lot of really great colours, black, white, baby pink, periwinkle blue, goldenrod, and red.
And there is Bruush! I’ve been using it for around two months and I really love it. If you’re in the market for an electronic toothbrush, I think it’s worth a look!
Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

I saw the same Kevin Hart ad! It’s a really pretty brush. I use electronic pretty much exclusively unless I’m traveling (none of that right now – lol). What a lovely opportunity for you to get to try this!
