I’m a huge fan of Esqido. You might know them from their bomb lashes (I have a review of a pair here), but today I have something new to show you! They recently launched gel liners! I’m a huge fan of their lashes so I definitely had big expectations!
Liner is one of my most used products probably in my arsenal. I’ve been wearing very minimal makeup during the week (sleep vs. makeup and sleep always seems to win). I’ve been carrying this around in my backpack though to apply on the go.
The Esqido Gel Eyeliner comes in 2 shades currently, black and brown. Similar to the lashes, I really love the matte white packaging with the rose gold lettering. Super sleek and it definitely stands out in my collection. These liners have a silicon ring about a centimeter from the tip for an airtight seal. I’ve never seen this on any other liner, so that’s cool!
Another really great feature of this liner is that it has a built in sharpener. Since it’s a gel liner, it’s extremely creamy. The point definitely dulls down easy due to this, so the sharpener is helpful!!
I love the rich colour in these liners. Both colours are matte and pack a punch. You don’t need much pressure to get a solid line. Black is my usual go to, but I’ve been using the brown for a waterline colour. It adds a bit of depth without it looking too intense!
In terms of longevity and smudge-proof, I would say these are very good for stick liners. If you want a bullet proof liner, I would recommend liquid usually. The cofortability and ease of use for these liners though definitely rank highly for every day. My eye shape facilitates smuding usually, and I didn’t get too much transfer. There was a bit at the end of the day, but in normal wear, I think this is a pretty good waterproof, long wear option!
All in all I’m super impressed with these. I’ve been using the black almost every day and I know I’ll eventually run out! If you’re looking for a new creamy and easy to use liner, I would definitely recommend checking out Esqido! 🙂
