The yearly Fall Sephora sale is upon us once more! I feel like it’s been a bit weird this year with the surprise sale so this one caught me up to me quick. Since I’m Rouge, there were more open weekend sale dates this year which first started the last weekend of October! Due to the mail strikes up in Canada, it took me awhile to get my package but it’s finally here! I omitted a few items that I picked up as gifts, but overall I think I got quite a bit of new items!
NARS Hot Tryst Cheek Palette
Let me start with the biggest one first. The NARS Hot Tryst Cheek Palette is the holiday cheek palette for 2018. NARS is never really a top brand for me, I find them kind of pricey. But I honestly couldn’t stop lusting over this palette. I hadn’t seen any swatches, but the packaging is just unreal. I can’t get over it. I’ve used it a couple of times and it’s what you’d expect from NARS quality (good). I can definitely see myself using ever colour as well, so I definitely thought it was worth it. Unfortunately, I can’t see the sku listed on Sephora Canada anymore! This palette was hot and it sucks you can’t get it anymore there (it was online exclusive).
Fenty Beauty Lip Paint in Uncuffed
This was a bit of impulse buy. I was looking at these for awhile, but wasn’t sure if I needed anymore lip products. I’ve been hearing such good things so I was willing to give it a go. There wasn’t much shade selection, but I went for the more neutral colour, Uncuffed. It’s actually a lot darker on my lips than it shows in the bottle. Lip products do tend to dry down dark on me though. So far I’m impressed. I had a balm underneath so I had some major transfer. I’ll try it plain lipped next time to see if that helps!
Huda Beauty The Overachiever Concealer in Nougat
One of the reasons I bought this was all the positive reviews I’ve been seeing! I need another concealer like I need a hole in my head, but I couldn’t resist. I used this for the first time today and I love it. The coverage is great, doesn’t settle into lines, and blends nicely. This is only from one use, so I’ll have to see as I use it more, but so far I’m definitely impressed!
Morphe Eyelid Primer
Sephora is getting more and more brands, one of those being Morphe! Maybe after this update, the booth at IMATS won’t be as crazy anymore! I was thinking of more brushes, but I ended up getting their eyelid primer. I haven’t really strayed from the ones that I’ve been using lately, so curious to see how this one performs! My lids don’t get particularity oily, but primer always helps to make shadows really pop!
Bite Beauty Scorpio Lipstick
Bite Beauty is a makeup collector’s fantasy. This year they released their astrological collection and have an individual lipstick for each sign. I’m a Scorpio and my birthday just passed, so I felt I had to get the limited edition Scorpio lipstick. I’m so pleased with the colour that was chosen for Scorpio. I actually don’t have a lot of orange reds so this is a welcome addition to my collection!
Bite Birthday Gift
As I said, since it was my birthday recently I was able to also get my birthday gift! One cannot get enough Bite Beauty lip products!
And there’s what I picked up minus some gifts! Can’t wait to continue using some of the items so I can review them properly!! What did you pick up in the sale?
