Hi there! So I was debating posting this just because Christmas feels like eons ago, but I wanted to post so I shall post! My parents very kindly gifted me the Jilly Box Holiday 2021 for Christmas. This was a super thoughtful gift, something I definitely wasn’t expecting.
About the Jilly Box
I’ve heard about this box in passing. A few people on social I’ve seen post on it (mostly one of my blogger friends, Renee!). The creator of the Jilly Box is the person who literally deserves the name of ‘Influencer’, Jillian Harris. I’m not actually a huge follower of Jillian, but I definitely don’t mind her. I purchased one of her collab jackets she had with Joe Fresh and since she’s very much targeted towards my age group, I’ve seen her come up quite a bit.
The Jilly Box is a seasonal subscription box which curates local, sustainable, cruelty-free products to put in their boxes. This holiday box I believe was very much a one off. It’s actually not listed in their past boxes. These boxes usually have a lot in them and are quite pricey I’d say. They are actually so popular that they have a lottery system for people to try and get boxes if you’re not a regular subscriber. The hype is real on these!

Smash + Tess Friday Romper in Bold Burgundy
This was such a cute inclusion, a Smash + Tess romper. The colour is super Christmas-y and just feels very holidays. This is my first Smash + Tess full romper. I bought one of the summer styles from BBxCollection, a local store out of Ottawa that has just the best curation of things! Anyways I was very happy to get this and since I’m work from home still, I plan to get good use out of this!
Milk Jar Candle in Holly
Next up is the Milk Jar Candle in Holly. Another great choice to put in this box. I’ve never heard of this brand, but always down to try a new candle. I’m burning this one now and it’s very pleasant! A bit strong with the clove I notice, but I really like the scent. Definitely very holiday inspired and something I’ll burn through!
Friday Sock Co. Socks
Also included are these Friday Sock Co. socks depicting a cute winter scene. I’m one of those people that can always use and wear more socks because why not? These are very cute and also will be getting some use this winter season!
Larsson and Jennings Watch
This was a collab with Jillian Harris it looks like as it has her name on the box. This Larsson and Jennings watch is a gold with a hint of pink to it. I wouldn’t call it quite a rose gold (my photo washed it out a bit). At first I wasn’t too sure what to think of this, but its starting to grow on me. I don’t usually wear a watch (I tend to have my fitbit on me) but this is really nice. I like the look of the strap and can see myself wearing this to really accessorize my outfit (if I ever end up leaving the house…haha).
Crawford Creek Star Ornaments
Last but not least are these Crawford Creek star ornaments. I’m not sure if I’d hang them on my tree, but I can definitely see myself using these as flaylay items! These definitely fit the Jillian Harris vibe of glam farm house.
And there is the full Jilly Holiday Box for 2021. This box is $275 with a retail value of $400. I think for sure you’re getting valuable and curated items, but $275 is a LOT. I do think it makes a good gift for those that are interested in the aesthetic. Just not something I’d try to subscribe to all the time! (thanks mom and dad!)

I love the Jilly Box items, but they are steep – I appreciate that they focus on brands and proper compensation for staff and companies! Also, love that colour of romper, I love Smash and Tess!
Soooo steep! But yes, definitely good and I think its a good idea they do seasonally just because they are that expensive.
The romper is so comfy! I’m wearing it now! 🙂 A huge fan already!
