Review: Mary Kay Intuitive pH Lip Balm

I’ll be honest, since my time outside has been limited, my makeup has been pretty simple. I was never really one to go for the no-makeup-makeup look, but I find myself going towards it more and more. Even when I was full faced on the regular, lip balm is a must. My lips are EXTREMELY dry almost at all times. When Mary Kay sent these new Intuitive pH Lip Balms, I was curious to see how they would perform.

Rambling Review:

The Intuitive pH Lip Balm, comes in two colours, Berry and Pink. Even though the Berry colour shows as a dark plum, the colour that shows on the lips is very light. I actually really like that it’s so lightly coloured. The interesting thing about this balm is that it actually gives each person a unique colour.

Berry – Pink

One of the best things about this lip balm is the scent. It’s a cherry scented and it smells perfect to me. It’s one of the reasons that I’ve been reaching for these so often!

In terms of moisturizing, I would say this is a decent balm. It’s not the best I’ve ever used, but I can definitely see myself using this up. Right when you put it on, It definitely moisturizes my lips. I usually have to re-apply frequently, but it’s not too big of a deal for me.

Berry

Pink

As you can see from my lip swatches, it’s pretty light. Both colours look pretty similar on me, but Berry is just that tad bit darker. still super natural which I love.

The lip balms are actually limited edition and are only available until August 15th, 2020. It’s also noted on their website that $1 from the sale of each of these will go to the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation which helps to invest in cancer research and resources for women suffering from domestic abuse.
