Review: LANEIGE BB Cushion Hydra Radiance

LANEIGE BB Cushion Hydra Radiance

With the insurgence of K-beauty into the mainstream, there have been cushions, cushions, cushions everywhere! Funny enough, I don’t have very many cushion products in my collection! Due to this, I was very excited to try the new LANEIGE BB Cushion Hydra Radiance foundation! I’ve used a couple of LANEIGE skincare items, but never a foundation! I’ve been using this for a bit of time and can definitely share my opinion on it!

Rambling Review

The LANEIGE BB Cushion Hydra Radiance is surprisingly big. I guess because it holds the actual cushion foundation along with the little puff thingy. The packaging itself is really pretty. It has this rainbow sheen to the top which gives a sleek look.

You actually get two cushions in this which is pretty great. The first one is already in the compact, but you also get a refill in the package. I’m down for that! The compact contains the cushion and the puff in separate compartments, similar to other cushion products I’ve tried.

When I’ve used this, I used it with the puff which seemed an okay application. I’ve heard of people just using their fingers to apply and I might start to lean towards that method. The puff worked fine, but I found it just took forever for me to get enough product to build up to the coverage I wanted. All in all though, I was definitely able to build it up with the puff.

Looking at the formula itself, this is where I’m super duper impressed. K-beauty products are known to be very lightweight, but that means low coverage. I look towards high or medium coverage regularly due to my hyper pigmentation. Building up with this product, I was able to get amazing coverage actually. This also has SPF 50 which is a huge plus for me. I love products with SPF.

In terms of wear, I’m again, super impressed. My skin is normal – combination and get oily in my T zone. I’m used to foundations breaking down around my nose, but this didn’t do that. It stayed glowy with great coverage for a full day! The Instagram above is what the foundation looks like on me in no. 21 Beige.

Even though cushion products aren’t new, I would highly recommend you check out this one. I’m so so impressed with the formula and the fact that it builds is great for anyone.

Thanks so much for reading! Hope you have a great day!
