Brow products are one thing that I feel like I never really deviate from. I have my core products I always turn to, and that is that! I recently got sent some of the new Mary Kay brow products which I was both excited and nervous for! They came at the perfect time as my current stash of brow backups was depleting fast! I have the full collection of the Precision Brow Liner and Volumizing Brow Tint to share today.
Mary Kay Precision Brow Liner
The Precision Brow Liner comes in 5 different shades:
- Blonde
- Dark Blonde
- Brunette
- Dark Brunette
- Black Brown
The shape, the size and the tip seem almost exactly like the ABH Brow Wiz and the NYX Micro Brow (which are my favs). All in all, i’m impressed with the Mary Kay pencil. It wears exactly the same as my other favourites and diffuses really nicely.
Blonde – Dark Blonde – Brunette – Dark Brunette – Black Brown
Colour-wise, I think it’s a serviceable array. Dark Blonde comes off as really red in the photo, but it doesn’t seem that red in person. The best colour for me is Dark Brunette. I would highly recommend this brow pencil!
Mary Kay Volumizing Brow Tint
I was excited to try the brow tint as well. First impressions were that it was really thick. The brush is quite large and picks up a lot of product.
The brow tint comes in 4 shades:
- Blonde
- Dark Blonde
- Brunette
- Dark Brunette
Blonde – Dark Blonde – Brunette – Dark Brunette
As you can see from the swatches, it comes off almost inky which makes it a bit hard to use. For me, there wasn’t a great shade. Brunette was too light and Dark Brunette was too dark (essentially black). I tried the Dark Brunette and with inky colour with the thick consistency, it made me look a little insane.
As much as I like the idea of this, I found it just a bit too hard to use. I much prefer the pencil!
And there are the newest Mary Kay brow launches! I will definitely be integrating the brow pencil into my everyday routine!
