Review: THEFACESHOP All Clear!

THEFACESHOP All Clear

Makeup removal is kind of a “been-there-done-that” sort of thing with people picking their favourite products and sticking to it. I’ve been trying out some new things from THEFACESHOP’s All Clear! Line that are worth looking into if you want to switch up your makeup removal routine!!

There are three products in the All Clear! line (I have two to show you today):

I was most interested and was sent the first two as the last one, the All in One Foaming Cleanser, is advertised to remove light makeup. I usually wear (or attempt to wear) bullet-proof, sweat-proof and oil-proof makeup. I need something strong to remove my makeup!

The Cleansing Water is advertised as removing the heaviest of makeup. It specifically mentions eye makeup and lip products. The Cleansing Oil Whip is an oil-foam to help remove foundation and other face makeup.

To test these two products, I thought I’d put them to the test with some arm swatches.

From left to right we have:

I let these all dry down for around 15 minutes (I patted down the liquid lip as well).

I first started with the Cleansing Water.

I soaked a cotton pad in the cleansing water and swiped across. I needed a few swipes to get it completely off, but I think it did a pretty good job. With testing this on my eye and lip makeup, it definitely does remove the stubborn waterproof makeup. I would say you need to do more than one swipe, but nothing crazy.

Next up is the oil whip

The picture above is just to show the foam as it comes out of the bottle. It’s a very frothy, but structured foam, so it doesn’t get a drippy.

Once you massage the foam in, it starts to melt into an oil. Some of the lip products took some rubbing, but the oil was able to lift it all up!

All in all I think both of these products work quite well at removing makeup! I really like using the oil whip just because it has this ‘fun’ aspect with the foam. Definitely makes cleansing your face after a tough night a tad more bearable! A good plus is that both of these are pretty affordable! The Oil Whip is $18 and the Cleansing Water is $15 at THEFACESHOP.

Have you tried any good makeup removers lately? Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!
