My Travel Beauty Packing List

Travel makeup. It’s almost like an art. You don’t want to be left without your favourite products but at the same time you don’t want to be paying overweight luggage fees! When I went away for a weekend in November I feel like I definitely under packed. I wasn’t happy with the palette I brought and I was wishing for all the glorious makeup I had tucked at home. I thought I would give you some insight on what I decided to pack for my upcoming vacation to the Caribbean!

1 Face Products

For face products I didn’t want to skimp. I am bringing two full sized (one actually extra sized) bottles of foundations. The It Cosmetics CC Cream (review can be found here) and the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD (comparison to the old HD foundation can be found here). The It Cosmetics CC cream will be the foundation I’ll be using when outside. I’m bringing the Ultra HD for when inside.

I’m also bringing two concealers, one of my waterproof favs, the Make Up For Ever Full Cover concealer for my hyper pigmentation and the Mary Kay Under Eye Corrector**.

I also couldn’t leave without packing my favourite (and really only) powder, the Sephora Mattifying Powder. As you can see I’ve hit major pan on it!

2 Primers / Setting Spray

For the primers and setting spray, I was able to cut down a bit. I’ve been using a Cover FX sample of their Anti- Acne Mattifying primer and I’ve been liking it quite a bit. I’m also bringing my Kat Von D Lock It eye primer which has been doing wonders for my oily lids. I’m planning a full review on this soon. Last but not least, I have the Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting spray (comparison with All Nighter can be found here). This is DEFINITELY a summer staple for me!

3 Lipstick

For lipstick, I decided to stick with pinks and nudes. But due to my obsession with lipsticks I couldn’t just pick one! What I have is:

• Kat Von D Everlasting Lipstick in Lolita II
• Charlotte Tiburry K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Bitch Perfect
• Colorpop Ultra Matte Lipstick in Bumble 
• Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Rio
• Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Chihuahua 

4 Palettes

This was probably the hardest decision to make. I wanted to bring my Too Faced Sweet Peach palette but I thought if it somehow broke I would be devastated. Not that I want to break any of these palettes, but since the Sweet Peach is not sold at Sephora anymore, I wouldn’t be able to replace it!

My main palette is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. Gotta stick with what you know! Then as a mini matte palette I have the Lorac Love, Lust and Lace palette (limited edition). Finally for all my face and highlighting I’m bringing the Becca Afterglow Palette (limited edition). Now that I’m looking at my other palette choices, I seemed to pick a few other non-replaceable palettes! Hope they come back safe with me!

5 Shower and etc.

Now for my shower / other items:
