Hello! It’s surprising to think that another year has come and gone. 2017 was a big year for me and I wanted to reflect on some of my favourite posts, accomplishments and then what I hope to continue to grow in 2018. I hope 2018 will continue to hold great things for myself and my blog!
I can’t believe 2017 has almost come to an end!! We’re now in that stage between Christmas and New Year where we can finish off our leftovers and get ready for the new year ahead! I thought I would share some of the items that I was lucky enough to get for Christmas. I was super excited to see some of the beauty items under the tree!
It feels like FOREVER since I’ve done an empties and it definitely shows. My bag was overflowing with stuff so it was definitely time! I think this is one of my biggest empties ever, so buckle up!
The Sephora VIB sales and discount season have come and gone! I feel like I made off with a couple of nice things and I thought I would share what I picked up! There are a few things not included as some were part of my 4 year blog giveaway and some are Christmas presents!
Christmas is almost here and if you’re like me, you’re just finishing up your holiday shopping. I haven’t tried a lot of these (since I actually plan to give them away to friends and family as well), but hope they give you some ideas for your shopping list.
If you’ve read my Versus post comparing Urban Decay All Nighter and Deslick, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of Deslick. I’ve tried a lot of setting sprays over the years, but none have really stood up to Deslick. A place I really haven’t searched for setting sprays is the drugstore. The drugstore has been impressing me more and more lately, and I was sent three different setting sprays to test out! Let’s take these babies out for a spin!
As I make my way through the Essence Fall/ Winter 2017 launches I was sent, I keep finding gems. The Water Kiss Glossy Lip Colours definitely surprised me! I’m usually not a glossy lip person, and didn’t expect much pigmentation at all. These little guys pack a punch though!
It’s hard to believe that we’re in December now. You know what that means right? Gift guides from bloggers galore! I’m gonna start off the month with some great stocking stuffers from the Farleyco brands that I was sent to review. Maybe you can get some ideas if you’re filling a stocking for a beauty aficionado!
Lipsticks are one of my vices. I feel like I have tons in my collection and it doesn’t seem to be shrinking anytime soon! When I was sent the new Mary Kay Gel Semi-Shine Lipsticks to try out, I was excited! I was able to get pretty good results from their Semi-Matte lipsticks (review can be found here), so I had high hopes!

I can’t believe another year has passed in my blog journey! It honestly does feel like yesterday since I first decided to start this blog. I would say this year has included a lot of change in my blogging and a renewed focus.
