I have a post today that’s been months in the making! I was sent some Elizabeth Grant products back in the summer to try out and I’ve been using them on and off since then. Elizabeth Grant is an interesting brand for me. It’s one that I’ve heard of for a long time, but never really looked into the products or offerings. I had never heard of the Wonder Effect line before, so I was very interested to try it out!
The Wonder Effect line targets fine lines, dryness and dark spots. The line features the Elizabeth Grant combination called Torricelumn. Retinol and glycolic acid are also features in the products! I was hesitant with trying the products as the main feature of the Wonder Effect and other Elizabeth Grant products are the anti-aging properties. Even though I wasn’t able to properly test these claims, I was actually quite impressed with the other claims targeting dark spots, dryness, and large pores!
Wonder Effect Triple Action Cleanser
The Wonder Effect Triple Action Cleanser is a thin but creamy formulation. It contains glycolic, salicylic, and citric acid. I really like how light this feels on the skin, it doesn’t foam much which is fine with me. My skin feels cleansed without being stripped, and just overall refreshed. I don’t love the bottle (a bit utilitarian) but this wasn’t the same one as on the site so maybe it was updated! Overall a very solid cleanser and I can see myself using this up completely!
Wonder Effect Toner
Next up is toner! Another very solid product in the line. I did notice that after cleansing, using this made my skin feel a bit tighter and drier than other toners I’ve used. With moisturizer right after, this didn’t make me fuss too much. What I do really like about this toner is that it does feel like really deep down cleansing. It really helps to get that last bit of makeup or dirt on the skin surface which I can always see on the cotton pad (yuck, but yes!)
Wonder Effect Detoxifying Mask
The Detoxifying Mask was the only product that I wasn’t in love with. This mask has an interesting consistency, it’s almost like a cream. I didn’t notice a difference in my skin that I did with the other products in this line. I noticed actually that my skin felt a bit tingly afterwards which was a strange sensation. I have pretty rough and tumble skin, with me not feeling the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial. That was one of the reasons I was so surprised that this had made my skin feel tingly!
Wonder Effect Night Wonder Concentrate
I’ve saved the best for last. I really really love the Wonder Effect Night Wonder Concentrate! First i’ll comment on the bottle. I love the star design and the gold accents. Very pretty in my beauty room! This has been one of my more consistent night serums and I have noticed a difference. I notice that my skin feels very smooth and plump in the morning. It helps to keep my pores at bay, but also doesn’t completely strip my skin of natural oils. Out of the products featured from this line, I would definitely recommend this night serum! It makes my skin feel fresh and light!
And there we have some products int he Wonder Effect line from Elizabeth Grant. Overall I’m impressed with the products and they’ve definitely been integrated in my skincare routine!
Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!
