Hi everyone! Have a different post today that focuses on fashion! I was recently picked for a Chick Advisor Product Review Club opportunity that gave me a $100 credit for the store! Funny enough, the reason why I had tried to sign up for this opportunity was because I was already thinking of a jacket from here since the late summer!
The NORI-K is a wool coat with a wide lapel. It has a removable knit collar and inner half-shell with two different waist ties, a leather strap and a fabric one. I was surprised by the length compared to the photos I saw online (the model must be hella tall). I’m 5’5 and this hit about 1/2 – 1 inch below my knees. If I could change one thing about the coat, I wish it was just a tad shorter. If I was any shorter I would have picked another coat as it would have felt like it was swallowing me.
As mentioned, this coat has the inner lining zip along with the full side zip. I really like having the ability for both or only the one. The inner mini lining with the knit collar will be very handy during the colder days.
I really like the waist tie. It adds a bit more structure to the coat. The knit is definitely structured in itself, but the tie adds a bit of definition. I love how you can switch out the tie for another one if you like.
All in all I’m super pleased by this coat. It was exactly what I was looking for, a warm ‘late fall’ coat. I definitely feel super professional in this coat and definitely adds some ‘adult’ into my wardrobe. So the elephant in the room here is that this coat wasn’t cheap. Even with the $100 discount the price of this guy was more than I’d normally spend on a coat. I was looking for an investment piece and something i could wear for a long time, so in that sense, I thought it was worth it. The quality seems there, but only time will tell with that. This is my first Mackage coat but so far I’m impressed!
Thanks for reading! Have a great day!
