After my recent Colourpop haul, I was thinking that I had enough new makeup to try out. But when a Sephora sale hits, one can never have enough! The Sephora Appreciation Sale was a surprise to most and I wasn’t sure how much I would buy. I ended up getting a LOT of stuff. I made both an online order (hello Ebates!) and an instore purchase! Here’s the stuff I picked up.
Instore Purchase
I bought three things in store. The reason I went in store was to try and find the elusive Naked palette. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to find it. I did pick up some awesome skin care picks though.
I know I wanted to get the Drunk Elephant Night Bright set. This is the recommended companion to my fav Drunk Elephant T.L.C Sukari Baby Facial (review over here). I’ve been using this consistently for two weeks and I have noticed a major difference since the very first use! It’s incredible and I would highly recommend!!
I also picked up my first products from Tatcha, the Pore Perfecting set. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about the brand, so I’m excited to dive right in!
The last thing I picked up instore was the It Cosmetics Superhero Liner. I picked this up after reading a review from Trysh over at Prarie Beauty Love! Her review was raving and everything I read in her review were right up my alley (brush tip, stay all day, non smudging, etc.). I’ve used this a couple of times and I already really love it! Can’t wait to try it with different looks!
Online Order
I made a HUGE online order as the sale section was massive (essentially it was a sale on the sale) so I couldn’t resist! Everything I bought was in the sale section except for the Ciate Glitter flip. I actually got two lip products from Ciate.
The hype has died down for the Ciate Glitter Flip in Holographic Crush, but I’m so excited to try it!! I also got a Ciate Liquid Chrome in Luna. The Liquid Chrome looks more like a topper or a lip gloss. The colour was so pretty (and can I talk about this packaging please?). I can never have enough lip products!
Speaking of Ciate, I also got the Glow To Highlighter. Can I talk about packaging again? I am just totally digging the stars! I used this for the first time recently and I’m so impressed! It diffused so well! I can’t wait to see how it compares to other highlighters in my collection!
For the face, I also picked up the Becca Gradient Sunlight Bronzer. I believe this is limited edition which is one of the reasons it was in the sale section I think. I was bit unsure when I first opened it as it’s pretty shiny. Using on the face though, it blends out really well and just adds a natural glow. So happy with this one!
A bit of an impulse purchase was the Nails Inc. Sparkle Like a Unicorn kit. I’m so glad I got this because I’m in love. I’m wearing Rainbow Wishes (the left purple multichrome polish) and it’s everything. I don’t have a polish anywhere near this in my collection. I’m wishing for good things with the other polish, Like a Unicorn in Dream Dust!
One thing that I was surprised was on sale was the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation. I wonder if maybe they are repackaging or formula change? I’ve been wanting to try this foundation forever. I tried looking up to see which colour would be best and landed on Light Sand. I’m a bit concerned it might be too dark, but we’ll have to see. I really really hope I can make it work though!
Last but not least is the Too Faced White Peach palette. Another surprising addition to the sale section. When this first came out I didn’t have too much interest in it. The colours are pretty but nothing overtly special. There were also quite a few negative reviews around this palette from what I remember. With all this being said, I’m very happy I picked this up. The pigmentation is decent and you can create some pretty neutral eye looks with it!
All in all, I had a very successful/ wallet draining sale. I’m very happy with my purchases and will be looking forward to trying everything out. What did you pick up in the sale? If you have a post, feel free to link it below, I’d love to check it out!
Thanks for reading! Have a great day!
