Facial cleansing devices are everywhere in the market, but it seem to be only populated with a couple of key brands. Fancii, a new-to-me company, reached out wondering if I’d like to try a few items! I was instantly drawn towards the Rhea Facial Cleansing Device. It’s deep cleaning with two different sides (one for deep pore cleansing and one for a regular facial cleanse) and no brushes to replace! I’ve been using it for a few weeks and happy to share my review!
The Rhea (pronounced ‘ray of’ similar to ‘ray of’ sunshine) is a silicon facial brush. Immediately this reminds me of the Foreo Luna devices. I have a Foreo Luna Play (the tiniest version that I got from a Sephora Favourites) so I do have something to compare it to. The main difference is definitely the handle on the Rhea. I really like this feature as it provides a bit better of a grip compared to the Luna.
The Rhea is actually what I’d consider my perfect cleansing device. You don’t need to charge it often (it says every 3 months) and even when you do, it’s easy to do. You can change the intensity using the plus and minus buttons to get a cleanse that really meets your needs.
I’ve used this brush with so many different cleansers and all have worked really well. My skin always feels super refreshed after using this. One of my favourite parts is that it’s water resistant so I can bring it in the shower with me to clean my face. Since I usually take my showers at night, it’s able to really help remove all of my makeup.
All in all, I really love this facial brush. It’s super easy to use and I have noticed a difference in my skin as it helps with the exfoliation. The best part of this device is the price. You can get this through Amazon for $35 CAD. This is a HUGE difference from both the Foreo (cheapest version is $50) or the Clairsonic (nothing less than $100). So if you’ve been looking at a facial cleansing device, I would recommend you look into the Rhea from Fancii!
Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!
