It’s been no surprise that Wet n Wild has quickly become one of my favourite drugstore brands. The quality is top notch and they seem to introduce new collections similar to that of high end brands. Wet n Wild’s newest collection is Goth-o-Graphic which combines the pastels of spring with the 90’s gothic grunge. I was sent a few pieces in the collection and I thought I would share some thoughts!
MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Liquid Eyeshadow
I’ll start first with the liquid eyeshadows ($4.99 USD). There are four colours in the collection and I was sent two: Pure Intension (a pure white glitter with a tinge of pink) and Nyctophilia (a duo chrome blue-purple). I haven’t tried many liquid eyeshadows, but I do have one from Inglot which I LOVE.
Pure Intension – Nyctophilia
Out of the two colours, I can see myself continuing to use Pure Intension. Both colours did not apply evenly (you can see from the swatches), but with Nyctophilia, it stands out so much more due to the darker shade. I integrated Pure Intension in look recently which turned out quite pretty. I would say you can only really use this as a topper and not a full shadow due to the patchy-ness

MegaLiner Metallic Liquid Eyeliner
Moving on to the metallic liquid eyeliner ($3.99 USD). Three colours in this collection, and I have Skull Prayer (a white metallic) to try out. Another so-so product. Unfortunately the brush on mine came a little busted so it was near impossible to get a sharp line. I was very impressed with the staying power of this though. For a fun little thing to have in your collection, this metallic liner might be worth checking out.
MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Metallic Lipstick
We are going from ‘meh’ to so bad with these metallic liquid lips ($4.99). This pains me to say because the liquid catsuit line has produced some great products, but these are just not great. There really is not better way for me to say this. There are four products in this collection with me having Pastel Grunge (baby blue) and Death to Unicorns (black/grey?).
Pastel Grunge – Death to Unicorns
I don’t think I’ve used a more finicky product. The formula is goopy and weird. It’s almost like the glitter congealed making it hard to get enough product on the applicator. These are patchy as HECK too. Similar to the liquid eyeshadows, these are not the easiest to use. I wasn’t going to post my lip swatches just because they are BAD, but I thought it would be the best way to really show their ‘performance’

Death to Unicorns
Save your money, these are definitely not worth it!
MegaGlo Goth-o-Graphic
I’ve saved the best for last and the saving grace of this collection: the megaglo products. If you’ve seen any reviews of the megaglo highlighting products, you’ll know that these are favs for a lot of people. I think the items in the Goth-o-Graphic collection completely nail it! There is the highlighting powder ($4.99 USD), loose powder ($6.99 USD) and the highlighting stick ($6.99 USD).
As great as all of these products are, the star for me is the loose powder. The OOMPH you get from that highlight is just out of this world!
Stick – Powder – Loose Powder
The stick highlighter is actually an amazing dupe for the Milk Supernova highlighter. I’m going to be doing an indepth Versus of those two very soon! Both the stick and the powder highlight really give that pretty purple lavendar tinge which I actually really dig in my highlighters. Call my crazy, but I’m still loving the coloured highlight trend thank you very much!
All in all, I really like the idea of this collection. The packaging is super cute and colours are adorable. Unfortunately some of the liquid products missed the mark, but the megaglo highlighting items make up for it in spades! I would recommend all three products!
Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!
