Hello folks! It’s been a bit but I’m back! Work’s been busy and then I was on vacation (which I hope to have a post up soon about). Anyways, today I have a review of Esqido Mink Lashes and their companion lash glue.
Let me just say my lashes ain’t cute. They are thin, point straight down and don’t hold mascara. A trifecta of terrible proportions. I was excited when Esqido reached out just because false lashes are literally the ONLY way for me to get any definition in my lashes. With this being said though, I’m not an expert at application so I was curious to see how they would work out.
Esqido has a really helpful tool on their website to help you pick the perfect lashes. I took the quiz and I came out with the Silhouette lashes. They are described on the website as:
“A lighter version of our BFF, this pair of mink lashes offer a natural and soft fluttery effect, giving an elegant yet playful look with its slight criss-crossed pattern and medium length. It’s enough volume to give your eyes that extra volume without looking too lengthy.”
Can I just say the packaging on all the lashes from Esqido is top notch! Everything is extremely luxe and beautiful with rose gold highlights. I’m completely in love with it!
On to application, I used the Companion Eyelash Glue from Esqido to see how it would work out. Again, I’m not super experienced in fake eyelash application, so I wasn’t sure how I would fare. The glue is surprisingly easy to use. The glue has a mini brush on the handle for application which makes it super easy. This was much easier to use compared to squeeze tube eyelash glue in my opinion.
Now to the actual eyelashes! I’m super impressed with the results and i’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I have full makeup in both shots, the only change is the addition of the lashes.
Before
After
Okay not sure if it’s just me, but WOW. What a massive difference. They totally open up my eyes and change the look of my eye makeup (I used the ABH Modern Renaissance in case you were curious).
I wore the lashes for a full day and they looked great. Just so so stunning. As most of you know, I wear glasses so sometimes makeup can get a bit lost behind my specs. The false lashes really helped to bring out my eyes!
In terms of comfort while wearing them, I would say that got a tad itchy throughout the day. This could be where I placed them on my eye, but I found the band bothering me a bit. I’ll also say I didn’t cut the lashes which maybe I will for future uses.
Another thing to note about these lashes is the price. They’re quite pricey at around $30 USD. This is definitely a luxury pair of lashes compared to just a run of the mill drugstore pair. I’m very happy with the results of the Silhouette lashes and I definitely do think you get a lot of quality from them. I would definitely be interested in getting another pair.
Thanks so much for reading! Hope you have a great day!

Ooo, these look so pretty on you. I agree, they do open your eyes up a lot! Definitely want to try some Esqido lashes. A++ for packaging too!

Thanks Nicole!! I would definitely recommend them!
These are hands down my absolute favourite lash brand to wear. I suspect the itchiness was due to not cutting the band down, so definitely give that a shot the next time you wear them!
I LOVE how they look on you and you definitely chose the right pair for your lashes and eyes! Considering your lack of practice, I was half expecting to see them applied sloppily, but that was not the case at all! You NAILED it and they look so freaking good!
Haha thanks Chelle! That means a lot! Yeah I’m actually wearing them today after cutting them down a bit and they are a lot more comfortable! I’m probably gonna get another pair at IMATS!
They are absolutely STUNNING! I wish I am good at falsies but the probability of my poking my eyes is higher than getting it right.

Thanks Shireen! Hey, if I can do it, I’m sure you’ll be super at it. LOL
They look beautiful! I’ve heard such good things about Esquido and they seem really worth it since they last so long and look so stunning!
Thanks Jojo! I would totally recommend them! I’m gonna pick up another pair at IMATS!
The lashes look great on you. I use House of Lashes glue and I love it, but it’s hard to wash off. How is the Esquido glue to remove? I would love to try Esquido. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
Thanks Jennifer! I’ve heard really good things about House of Lashes! I haven’t noticed any issue with the glue at all. The brush is really ideal for getting a super thin layer on in the first place so when you remove them it’s not a huge deal!
They look so good Melanie!
I’m not a fan of falsies, especially since they’re usually long enough to brush up on my glasses and smear it up LOL
Thanks Maria!! 🙂
Oh I totally get you! I suffer from the same problem as well! They make such a difference and since I don’t wear mascara I think I might just suck it up lol.
