I recently made a couple of purchases at Shoppers Drug Mart and Rexall (Canadian drugstores). I picked up some backups of items and also decided to pick up some things that caught my eye. If you’re looking for some great products at the drugstore, here’s a little roundup!
Rexall
I’ll start with Rexall. I don’t usually wander in to Rexall, but I had a bit of time to kill and thought I would go into one of their larger locations downtown. I was VERY impressed to see that they were carrying some DECIEM products and specifically The Ordinary. If you’re a blogger (or read beauty blogs) I’m sure you’ve seen the hype around The Ordinary foundations. Their skincare has a lot of hype as well. I decided to pick up the Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%. I’ve only used it a couple of times, but so far I’m very impressed. I plan to do a full review once I’ve had some more time to try it out.
Something else I picked up at Rexall was a new NYX microbrow. Since us Canadians now have ample access to NYX (thank goodness!) I didn’t really need to buy it at Rexall, but for convenience, I thought I would pick it up.
Shoppers Drug Mart
At Shoppers, I decided to pick up one of the ‘Teen Packs”. If you’ve never heard of these, you need to check it out! Around summer time each year, Shoppers releases these packs that contain some staples as kids start to head back to school. I think they’re fantastic deals and they always contain products that I’ll use.
This year I got the ‘Gear for Girls’ pack. They usually have 3 varieties, a general teen pack, and one for each sex.
Something else I picked up from Shoppers was the BVspa scrub. I received two as PR samples last year, and they have quickly become my favourite body scrub. It’s so fantastic to exfoliate the skin perfectly. The sugar scrub is my favourite!

Those teen packs are an amazing value for the price – whenever I see them, I know it’s back to school time but also time to pick these up when they are on sale in September! I didn’t realize Rexall now carries The Ordinary! There’s a bunch of things I want to pick up but haven’t had a chance to because they’re out of stock!

Yes! I was surprised to see it myself! Unfortunately their Ordinary selection is very very small (only about 4 items), but I was still able to pick one up that interested me!
I’m a sucker for these Back to School kits although I’m not the demographic! 😛
I spotted DECIEM products at Rexall too – I squealed like a kid! 😀 But since there are a few stand alone DECIEM stores near me, I’ll just get mine from there.
Aren’t they awesome! It’s crazy that DECIEM products are becoming more and more accessible which I love! Oh, I’ve never been to a stand alone store, but I definitely want to check one out!
I have never wandered into Rexall until today. LOL! I adore that BVSpa scrub and should really repurchase soon.

Haha! Yeah with the Shoppers points system, it just makes more sense to buy items there instead. Isn’t that scrub incredible! Definitely my go-to!
