#NailsOfTheDay: Essence Flower Power

Hello friends! For my final post for Essence week, I have a nail art design with some of the new shades for Spring Summer 2017. For this nail art design I used the Essence Nail Art Duo Stylist dotting tool which I’ve actually had for some time. It’s super easy to create cute little designs, especially flowers!

For the base I used 83 Pretty Cool Life and I love this colour so much! It’s a pretty seafoam green that will definitely integrate into my collection nicely.

On the ring finger I used 86 My Sparking Darling. This sparkly shade needed 3 coats to make it opaque, but I’m really happy with the results. This is similar to higher end polishes I’ve used for probably half the price.

After Pretty Cool Life dried, I used 75 Perfect Match to create the petals for the flowers. It was super easy with the dotting tool. I added the pistil of the flower with 82 Hula Hoop using the smaller end of the dotting tool.

All in all I’m very happy with these polishes. This is the first time using the Essence Gel formula and I’m impressed. They retail for $2.99 which is a steal. They definitely measure up to higher end polishes in terms of opacity and longevity.
