A couple of weeks ago, my heart went into makeup overload (so did my wallet). It just happened to be that the Sephora spring VIB sale and Murale spend your points event fell on the same weekend. So what do I do? I end up getting a LOT of makeup and here is the haul to prove it.
Sephora
As the sale came around this year, I thought I really didn’t need that much. Of course I ended up getting some things anyways, how typical!
Minnie Mouse Tote Bag
With the fairly new Minnie Mouse Sephora collaboration, you could redeem 250 points for this cute tote bag. I had to grab it just because I’m a Disney fanatic and I always get great use out of these fabric canvas bags. I used this one during Day 2 of Gen Beauty (watch out for that post soon)!
Bite Beauty Spring Fling Kit
This was entirely an impulse buy. I have not had the pleasure of trying the new Amuse Bouche lipsticks from Bite Beauty and thought that this would be an amazing opportunity. The kit comes with 3 colours, Gazpacho, Verbena, Beetroot, a lip primer, a mini mirror, and a cute little bag. So far I LOVE the lipsticks. Bite is honestly my one true love though <3
Hourglass Veil Primer
This is my 3rd or 4th bottle of this stuff. I should probably just invest in the bigger bottle but it’s so pricey!
Kat Von D Lock It Eye Primer
I went into Sephora needing a new eye primer and I knew this one was brand new on the market. It’s very interesting, I’ve never used a thicker cream eye primer before but so far I like it. I have very discoloured eyelids and I find this helps a lot! I will probably do a full review of this one!
Murale
I have been saving my points up FOREVER to do this. Murale’s bonus redemption weekend lets you redeem the same amount of points for a higher dollar value. Here are the goodies I got for around $25 ( (just the tax)!
Mini BKR Bottle
I’ve been thinking about these bottles for a bit and thought through this promotion it was worth it. I find that I always get a plastic or tin-y taste from reuseable water bottles and they just don’t come clean. I can just pop this one in the dishwasher and I’m good to go! I also wanted the mini one so I could just put it in my purse for on the go!
High End Makeup (Chanel Lip Definer, YSL Touche Eclat and Rouge Volupte)
This is one of the reasons I was so excited to redeem my points. Murale has some great higher end brands that I just wouldn’t feel all that comfortable purchasing normally (goodbye money)! I picked out a Chanel Lip Definer, YSL Touch Eclat and Rouge Volupte. Everything is just so pretty! Love that YSL lip product packaging!
Smashbox Primer Water
I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Smashbox Primer Water! Had to pick it up to see what all the hype was about!
L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Hand Cream
Last but not least I got a L’Occitane hand cream. I had the chance to try this as a mini and loved the scent! I was just below the $200 threshold for the points redemption and this put me over!
And there was my Sephora and Murale haul! This was my first time purchasing from Murale actually. Do you have a Murale in your area? What do you think of the store if so?

I wasn’t a huge fan of the KVD primer, but I’m really finicky with those things. Hope you like it though!
The Bite set… man… I keep wanting to pick it up cuz I love the minis, but I already have Beetroot and I don’t NEED more lipsticks… ARGH.
Yeah I find it a bit hard to blend (I have to do one eye at a time), but I like the colour correcting properties lol.
I’ve been on a lipstick kick lately but need to stop. I love the minis a lot too! I thought this was a great way to try different colours.
Very interested in that Bite lipstick set. I looked at that myself but didn’t make the purchase. I restrained from the Sephora sale (somehow) but now seeing everyone’s hauls it makes me want to go fill my cart!
Well you’re in luck because the set just went on sale! I think it’s 35 bucks now. A lot better of a deal I think! Let me know if you end up caving haha!

Is Murale something like Shoppers? I don’t have it in my town. I saw the Bite lipstick set on sale but have read many reviews stating they bleed so I decided not to get it. Will you do a review on the set?

Yup, you got it! Murale is actually part of Shoppers. It’s pretty much the Sephora of Shoppers with all makeup, hair care, skin care, including higher end brands. I think they only have 4 in Canada unfortunately.
Oh interesting! I’ve never had issues with Bite lipsticks bleeding, but I have just started using the Amuse Bouche ones. Yes! I was definitely thinking of doing a review! 🙂 Keep you posted when it’s up! 😀
YEEEE I got that bite beauty set too, still have to try the colours but I wanna photograph them first hehe. I’m ready to spend my points at Shoppers for my next redemption!! I plan to just get a few makeup products though and get a bunch of snacks muahahahaha. The Rouge Volupte is also on my list, the packaging is GORGEOUS! Hope you do a review on that one, I don’t know which one to buy!!!

Haha it’s so funny, I buy so many snacks at Shoppers that the app always gives me snack coupons lol. It is my first YSL lip product and it’s AMAZING. So so good. I love it! I definitely plan to review it!
