I recently won a gift pack from a Canadian Beauty Blogger Twitter chat from Lush! I was so happy and excited just because I really haven’t used much from the brand. What seems like ages ago (junior high) I was gifted a bar soap from Lush. Other than that I hadn’t really tried much. Lush has all of these awesome gift sets, and I was sent the Golden Wonder set. I couldn’t have picked a better one! I love everything!
The gift box was beautifully wrapped (which I opened before I could get a picture hehe). In the set were 3 things, a bath bomb, a hand/body lotion and a ‘Fun’ bath puddy.
I’ll start with the Celebrate hand/body cream. I’ve been using this for a bit, and I really like it! I think it smells very very similar to The Body Shop’s Satsuma body butter. The consistency is very light weight and very creamy which I like. I’ve been using this after my showers which I think is best. One thing I don’t love about this is that it stays greasy on the skin for quite awhile. This is why I wouldn’t really use this as a hand cream on the go.
Next we have the Fun bath puddy (not really sure if that is it’s official name). This is such a fun concept. You can use it as a shampoo, body soap, or bubble bath. I’ve never seen anything like it which I just found so cool. You can break of little pieces and mold and play with it. I used it as a shampoo and it didn’t do an amazing job so I wouldn’t recommend it. As a bubble bath or body soap I think it’s super cool though!
Last but not least, we have the bath bomb! This is the Golden Wonder bath bomb and let me say that this did NOT disappoint. It was a lot bigger than I expected and really got a good fizz going. I would say this was my ideal bath bomb. I’ve read that sometimes when a bath bomb is too sparkley you have to wash your tub down, but I didn’t have to with this one. The smell was soooo amazing too. Right up my alley. Not too strong, but a sweet light fragance! Also the best part is the colour changing surprise of this!
I’m happy to say that I really enjoyed everything in this gift pack! I ended up actually buying a friend another Lush set just because they were so easy to give (no wrapping required)!
