Haul: Sephora Black Friday 2014

Well hello there. Hope you are having a great day! I thought I would do a quick post on some things I picked up at this year’s Sephora Black Friday sale. I bought all of these in-store as I just find it easier than staying up late and potentially not getting what I want. This is my third Black Friday pilgrimage and I’ve always gotten everything on my list. 🙂

Not too much as I didn’t want to get out of hand. I also bought 2 of the Tarte packs to give away as gifts. Since those are already being wrapped up, I decided not to include them.

1. Origins Task Maskers

Price: $12 CAD

Funny story about this one. I was the 10th person in line before the Sephora in my area opened. Once everyone was let in, people just started grabbing things. Once things had sort of started to settle down, I noticed the last one of these sets was being grabbed. How disappointing. So I asked an associate who said she didn’t think there were any left. :/ Didn’t really believe her, but what can you do. I paid for my purchase and left. I noticed that the cashier hadn’t taken off my 10% off VIB welcome discount which I was saving for this purchase. As I was going back in, I noticed an associate refilling these, so I was able to get one. 🙂 Worked out that I was able to use my 10% off and get all the things that I wanted. 🙂

I have never tried anything from Origins before so I thought that this would be a good starter kit! Can’t wait to try it out!

2.  Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Sampler

Price: $12 CAD

I didn’t get this last year just cause I thought it was unbelievably expensive for these itty bitty hair things. I don’t usually buy special shampoos, so I was hesitant.  One of my friends bought this last year and ABSOLUTELY LOVED it. Like, loved it so much that she bought the full size. And that is a pretty penny to spend on shampoo! Wanted to see what all the hype was for and try it for myself!

3. Formula X The Two in Juju & Voodo

I was glad to have gotten these ones. I don’t have any Formula X polish and nothing in these colours either. I thought they would be a perfect addition to my collection and that blue will look so nice during this snowy and cold weather!

So there is my haul. I got exactly what I wanted and didn’t overspend at all. 🙂 I can’t wait to try everything out!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

  1. I've tried a few of origins masks and they're so good in cleansing the face and I feel like it does an effective job in removing the gunk! I didn't spend anything on Black Friday, ugh!

  2. I'm so excited to try them out! My face has been going through a rough patch, so it will really put it to the test! Hey, well at least you saved some money for xmas shopping! 😀

  3. That is a REASONABLE haul! Kudos to that! It's hard not to get into a buying frenzy when everybody else is going crazy! I have a friend who was in the US at that time, and I asked her to get me one Bite High Pigment Pencil (in Quince). So I guess I stayed reasonable as well 🙂

  4. Thank you Sunny! Yes I was actually quite proud of myself. 🙂 OMG I know, and it took a lot (sadly) to hold me back from some things! Oh BITE is amazing. I have a few of their things and I've been really happy their their products. Can't wait to see a review from you!
