Hello! Today I’m talking about hair. I usually I don’t do hair posts, and I don’t think I’ve actually ever done one in the past. When Irresistible Me approached me to review their Sapphire 8 in 1 Curler, I couldn’t resist. I usually curl my hair with my straightener and I’ve liked the quick process of it all. I love the idea of curling wands and actually have an old Conair one. I seem to never reach for it just because it’s so limited. It’s one barrel and doesn’t create the best curls.
How does the Sapphire 8 in 1 match up to my current hair curling methods? Lets dive right in.
Overview:
Amazing tool with huge flexibility and great mechanics. The last curling appliance you’ll ever need.

This was provided to me for review purposes, but you can find it on the Irresistible Me website for $199 USD.

Rambling Review
So I love love love this hair curler. It did exactly what I needed and more.
Lets start with packaging. The Sapphire curler comes housed in beautiful faux leather casing which is wonderful for travel as it rolls up into a cylinder. All the barrels are in their own slots with room for the base and a heating glove. This set-up is amazing for travel and I could totally see myself bringing this along with me. The actual packaging is quite nice as well. The fabric case was in a flip top hard glossy cardboard box which is perfect when you’re storing the wand at home. The box is also quite helpful because it lists all the attachments and some of the pros of the Sapphire.
Now on to the appliance itself. I could tell that they put a lot of thought into the design The 8 different attachments are diverse and easy to interchange. The cord is quite long with a 360 degree swivel. I’ve never used a digital hair appliance before and it was awesome.
When you first plug it in, it lists OFF with a blue blinking back light. I loved this feature because I ALWAYS forget to actually unplug my hair appliances. This is a great reminder to do so. When you hold the power button on the base, it starts to heat up.
You can follow along as the digital display lights up as it’s heating. Once it’s all done heating up, it turns green. All of these heat features are super helpful just because for other hair appliances I’ve used I find myself guessing when it’s hot enough. There’s no guessing with the Sapphire. Another huge plus of this is that it heats up in no time at all. I would say around 30 seconds which is completely unreal!
Now for the actual results. I’m so happy with how the Sapphire works as I find it has an even heat distribution. The following pictures are my Before – During – After shots.
(Thanks to my boyfriend for snapping these for me). I used the 19 mm barrel to get these curls. As you can see from my ‘during’ picture, I made use of the heat glove. I would honestly not use one of these if this was not included. I don’t know how people do it, but I would just end up singeing the tips of my fingers (or worse)!
In my ‘after’ picture, you can see the final curls. The left side I kept them uncombed out just so you could see the full curly action! On the right, I brushed it out a bit so curls would separate and create a wave. So what do you think? I quite enjoy both looks. I haven’t gotten a chance to try out all the barrels, but I look forward to it!
The reason that I couldn’t rate this a 10/10 was just the price. $199 is pretty expensive, but I think worth it. I would honestly pay that just because I don’t think I would need any other curling appliance.
Anyhoo, hope this review was helpful if you were interested in looking for a new curler! I highly recommend this one!
Thanks so much for reading and hope you have a great day!
