Charlotte Tilbury Canadian Launch + Haul

*Purchased

Hello! πŸ™‚ Hope you have been having a great day!
So yesterday my friend Leah (who is thinking of potentially starting a beauty blog too!) and I went on an adventure to Holt Renfrew to check out the NEW Charlotte Tilbury counter!
To be honest, I wasn’t familiar with the entire Charlotte Tilbury line, but her lip products have been touted everywhere so I wanted to check it out. Even though I didn’t go on the day she was doing her meet and greet, I was still so happy to check out the entire collection for myself! I had such an amazing day.

Planning the trip to Holt Renfrew, it was my intention to try and get a makeover done. I found out last minute that you needed to have an appointment so I lowered my expectations. Arriving at Holts, you could tell the euphoria of last night’s launch still hadn’t wore off. We made our way to the counter to look around. We were greeted by a cheery gentleman who asked us if we needed any help. We mentioned that if at all possible, we were hoping to get our makeup done to get a real feel of the products. We mentioned that we did not have an appointment and would totally understand if we couldn’t be accommodated. He was so sweet and managed to get both of us an artist to work with!

The makeover took about an hour and I had such a great experience. For the makeover, we were able to pick one of Charlotte’s looks to re-create. I chose The Sophisticate (the 2nd look from the right on the top row). I usually don’t go to counters or get my makeup done so this was definitely special. It was my first time in Holts too, so I was nervous anyways. My makeup artist was very sweet and knowledgeable. She explained a fact about every single thing she applied on my face and was very nice to me! (Even when my eyes were watering and messing up all her hard work!). The end result was nice. I don’t think I would re-create the look just because I feel like it didn’t suit me all that much. It was great to try out the products first hand and just look at all the pretty makeup. πŸ™‚

Now to what I ended up getting! I can’t sugar coat this, the makeup is expensive. I would definitely consider this a luxury purchase. One thing I wanted for sure was the Pillow Talk Lip Liner. So…I got it. πŸ™‚

1. Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk

Price: $27 CAD

I would definitely say this is a perfect my lips but better colour. I only have one lip liner from MAC, i bought it to use with my brighter Wet N Wild lipsticks. Since I have NOTHING like this in my collection, I thought it was justified. πŸ˜‰

2. K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Hepburn Honey

 Price: $38 CAD

Ugh the packaging on this! It’s by far the most beautifully packaged lip stick that I own. This is a lipstick that was used in my makeover along with Pillow Talk. It looks sooo so pretty. As mentioned, I don’t own much of this colour lipstick at all. I felt like I could get a lot of use out of it, so I splurged.

Hepburn Honey – Pillow Talk

All in all, I had a great experience. Everyone at Holts was so sweet and accommodating and just seeing the bright and beautiful counter was fantastic. So far I’m very happy with my purchases. If you can, I would say go to the counter to swatch and try out the products. I can see both of these products getting a lot of use in the future!

Are you excited about the new Charlotte Tilbury launch?

Thanks for reading! Hope you have a great day!

Haul: Spring Sephora Sale aka Excuse to Buy Things

I’ve been doing okay in my unofficial buy-less-use-more movement, but I was weak when the Sephora sale came a’ callin’. Most of the stuff I wanted to buy was for the vacation I had last week. Well, that’s what I told myself. :p

1. Free Bag

What can I say, I like free stuff. The only thing is that I don’t really understand the composition of this bag. When I saw it on the email, I thought it would be like a kate spade bag where there is the opening on the flap and also an opening in the crease. But no. The bag is just awkwardly creased with only an opening in the top. I think this would be a nice way to travel with palettes, but I might iron out that weird crease.

2. BITE Beauty 5 Night Fix for Lips

I knew going into this that these would be very very small. And my intuition did not disappoint. They are more like deluxe samples, but I don’t really mind. I’ve been hoping to buy the Agave Lip mask for the longest time, so I thought this kit would be cute to try. The lip exfoliator is nice too. It almost dissolves on your lips which means I don’t have to press vigorously to make it work. It has the BEST scent too. I think it smells like cherry cola. Yum.

3. Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth Cleansing Cloths

I honestly can’t escape these. They are so expensive, but I always come back to them. I wanted a mini pack to take on vacation with me.

4. Urban Decay De-Slick

I thought that this would be a great time to try this sucker out. I’ve used All Nighter before, and it’s been okay. For my vacation I went to a very humid and warm place so I wanted this. I used it every day and it worked out well! It could also be due to the fact that I used Bare Minerals foundation instead of my usual liquid. Either way, with that combination it worked well!

5. Sephora Retractable Face Brush

I went into Sephora looking for this retractable kabuki to take travelling with me. I couldn’t find it unfortunately but the nice associate found me this one instead. I felt bad because she searched forever to find this one so I bought it. It was DEFINITELY a bit more than I expected it to be, but it does the job just the same. It’s a very substantial brush which is nice. I wish I could have found that $12 dollar brush though. :/

6. Jack Black Moisture Therapy Lip Balm in Mint

I can’t believe I have not discovered this yet. I wanted a stick lip balm with a very high SPF for my vacation. So far I LOVE it. It comes out as a thick balm which might turn off some people, but I don’t mind it. I don’t think it’s as thick as the Fresh lip balms (which is good). I’ve just started using it, but I feel it’s gonna be holy grail status for sure.

7. BITE Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo in Fig/Date

I’ve been looking at this duo since Christmas and finally caved. it is sooo beautiful. I got the Fig/Date combo versus the brighter duo they have. As expected from BITE, they are smooth and pigmented. Super beautiful!

8. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer to Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer

So this primer was a total splurge/ impulse buy. I wanted a new primer for my vacation and just in general because I have lousy luck with primers. This seems super expensive just for this small size (not that I need any more). After reading not so glowing reviews for this, I ended up exchanging it for….

The Hourglass primer. Funny enough, I didn’t bring this on vacation because I was scared haha. I have yet to use it yet, but I am excited to try it!!

And there we have my most recent haul. I didn’t go nuts, but I definitely didn’t hold back haha. I’m so happy with everything I bought. After my vacation I had dental surgery and am still in recovery. I haven’t been wearing makeup at all for the past couple of days. I can’t wait to hurry up and get better so I can slap on some makeup and try a lot of this stuff out!

Thanks so much for reading! Hope you are having a great day!

Haul: L’Oreal Sale

*Purchased

Hi there!

I hope you are having a great day. I come to you with a haul. At the start of the year I said that I would be cutting down on hauls, and I have to some degree. A couple of weeks ago though, my friend asked me if I would be interested in going to this L’Oreal sale. It’s a ticketed event but his mom got them from work. SO. HAPPY. No buy? No more.

My friend and I trekked out not really knowing what to expect. I knew they had some pretty good deals on Essie, but other than that I wasn’t too sure. When I got there, I was pleasantly surprised. Here’s what I picked up!

1. Garnier Refreshing Remover Cleansing Towelettes

Price: $5.75 CAD

I didn’t actually really want to buy these. These were actually one of the more expensive things that I bought. I am running out of makeup wipes, so instead of being economical and going out to get cheaper wipes, I bought these. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this in the store. Meh, I’m usually game for trying any type of makeup wipes. We shall see!

2. Ombrelle SPF 45 Ultra Light Cream (Sunscreen)

Price: $5 CAD

Just realized I photographed the French side. D’oh. But you get the point. I actually need a new face sunscreen and I haven’t used the Ombrelle brand in forever. I used this today actually and it’s pretty nice! The only thing is that it expires next year, so I’ll have to spend a lot of time in the sun this year!!

3. Garnier BB Cream Skin Renew in Light

Price: $12 CAD

As usual, I’m always late on the bandwagon. This was hot a couple of years ago (maybe more than a couple of years ago). This was more of an impulse buy, but I thought, meh, wanted to try it. Me buy. πŸ™‚ I’ve used it a couple of times and like it! The only warning I have is that it is VERY VERY scented. I don’t actually mind the scent, but if you’re not a fan of fragrance in makeup I wouldn’t recommend this.

4. Maybelline Baby Lips in 70 Coral Crush and 95 Strike a Rose

Price: $2 CAD each

I was so happy to find these! I’m already a fan of the Baby Lips line (other than Dr. Rescue), so I thought I would branch out from my clear one. I’ve used the Coral one and really like it! Can’t wait to see how pigmented the bright pink one is. πŸ˜€

5. Essie Nail Polish in Vices Versa and Strut Your Stuff

Price: $4.75 CAD each (I think)

I thought I would go bananas for the Essie, but I reigned myself in. πŸ˜‰ Both of these are from the Neon 2014 collection. Can you tell I’m ready for spring and summer?!

6. Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 90 Nude Compliment, 80 Pure Nude, 85 Beige-ing Beauty

Price: $2.75 CAD each

These took a lot of digging in the big bins, but I managed to grab 3 that I really love. Can you tell I like neutrals? The only Colour Tattoo I have right now is Bad to the Bronze, so it’s nice to add a few lighter shades to the mix.

7. L’Oreal Colour Extraordinary Lip Colour in 104 Dancing Rose

Price: $3

When I saw these there I probably (embarrassingly) squealed a bit. I got one of these at TIFF this year in the L’Oreal hut and I’ve been waiting to purchase more. It’s a lip gloss that wears so nicely. It also leaves a nice stain on your lips. I’ve been holding off just because of the price in the drugstores,  but this one was such a steal! So glad I waited!

And there we have it! After doing this haul, I feel like I could have gone a bit crazier. I’m gad to be saving my money though. :p This sale was totally worth it and I’m so happy that I went. πŸ˜€

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great day!

Haul: Goodbye Sweet Target

*Purchased

Goodbye my lover. Goodbye my friend. *sheds a tear*

When I first heard about Target’s dissent from Canada, I was more than a little upset. I was actually devastated. As dramatic as that sounds, I honestly love Target to death. All of the different brands for clothing, makeup, and housewares (the list goes on) just kept me coming back. As much as this probably hurt Target, I always liked that it was not busy. I could do my shopping in peace without the Wal-Mart mania jostling me in every which way.

So when I heard that Target’s liquidation would be starting soon, I wanted to get out to the stores ASAP. I didn’t care about the liquidation sales, I just wanted to pick up what I wanted as soon as possible. I know I have said that I wanted to cut down on hauls, but I think this is an exception.

These might be some boring things, but here’s what I picked up (makeup wise).

1. Cotton Rounds

The main picture lies. I didn’t buy two packs of these. I bought eight. Excessive? Probably. So many people asked me why I bought so many of these. Wal-Mart, Shoppers, and more have these as well for a similar price so why Target? It’s mostly nostalgia. I remember when I first started to use cotton pads, I picked these up from Target. Ever since then, I’ve just been using these. So I thought, heck, might as well clear out the store. :p I guess I’ll have to venture into Wal-mart to get cotton pads now…

2. Sonia Kashuk Eye Makeup Remover

So the main picture doesn’t lie for these, I really only bought two. ;D The first time I tried this was in the States. I was soooo impressed with this, especially for the price. Since coming to Canada, I never actually bought one of these from Target! I always had another eye makeup remover on the rotation. Since I won’t be able to get this anymore, I thought I would grab two.

3. Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm Trio

I had not been able to try anything from Pixi, so I thought I should grab something before Target goes sayonara. My friend had tried the clear one (tube on the left) and really really liked it. I have tried the bright pink and the clear one so far and I am impressed. Very good quality lip balm! The only issue I have is the price. For these three, it cost around $17! I thought that was mighty expensive.

And that’s what I managed to pick up from Target. I didn’t go crazy on the NYX or e.l.f stuff as I notice that a lot of stores are selling them now. I wanted to pick up stuff I wouldn’t be able to get here anymore.

Did you end up going to Target and pick up anything nice? Are you waiting for the liquidation sales? Are you sad to see Target go?

Thanks for reading and hope you have a wonderful day!

Haul: What I Got For Christmas

*Gift

Hi blog world! Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a safe and happy start to 2015!

With the new year, I thought I would add a few things to my blog. I signed up for an email address specifically for this blog which took some thinking. Having an email connected to this blog just makes it seem all the more real, this blogging thing. Unfortunately the exact name of my blog’s email was taken so I got iamnotabeautyguru. Close enough? Sort of….? I rejigged an About Me page and a Disclosure page as well.

On with the haul!

My friends and family were very generous with the beauty gifts (and non beauty gifts as well!). I can’t thank them enough!

1. Sephora Favourites Draw the Line

I can see myself using all of these right up! If there is one thing I love, it’s eyeliner. πŸ™‚ The brands included in this kit are Sephora, Marc Jacobs, NARS, Urban Decay, Stila and Kat Von D. I have only tried the Stila liner which makes this a great valued kit for me. Even so, the Stila liner in this kit is brown, so I’m curious to see how it compares to my black one. πŸ™‚

2. Sephora Favourites Cleansing Ritual to Go

These Sephora Favourite boxes are my absolute favourite. Like the liner one, I can see myself using every single one of these. I’m excited to try the First Aid Beauty Cleanser as I’ve heard amazing things about it.

3. EOS Lip Balm in Pomegranate Raspberry

Yum yum! EOS! I haven’t actually tried this scent and I’m really liking it so far! So easy to just throw in a purse and go!

4. Too Faced Melted Kisses Set

I’ve been wanting this kit for awhile, so I was happy to receive it! So far I have tried the 2nd and 3rd colour. The 2nd colour wasn’t quite right for my skin tone right out of the tube, but after a bit of blotting I was able to get it down to a nice nude. And the 3rd colour gave quite a punch! I love the feeling and pigmentation of these. They are easy to apply and have the cutest little bottles!

5. Anna Sui Nail Polish in 111

This is my first nail polish by Anna Sui. I’m very excited to try it. It’s hard to tell from my picture but the bottle is a little mannequin with the dress showing the nail polish. Is that the coolest packaging or what?! I would say this colour is very similar to Essie’s Mint Candy Apple but just slightly more green. Can’t wait to see how it wears. πŸ™‚

6. OPI Nail Set

As a stocking stuffer I got a cute little OPI Nail kit. Is the packaging adorable or what? The nail polish it comes with is a chrome colour, but no name. Very odd for OPI! I’ve never had one of the little bottles though, so maybe they don’t have names for those? Not too sure. The kit also came with a nail file and a hand cream. πŸ™‚

7. Sephora Gift Card

Last but not least, a Sephora gift card. Who can go wrong with these? With each gift card comes with a portable mirror. So good for on the go. I have enough of these mirrors to have one in every bag haha!

And that is my beauty related items that I got for Christmas. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday season with their friends and family! πŸ™‚ Thanks for reading!

Haul: Sephora Black Friday 2014

Well hello there. Hope you are having a great day! I thought I would do a quick post on some things I picked up at this year’s Sephora Black Friday sale. I bought all of these in-store as I just find it easier than staying up late and potentially not getting what I want. This is my third Black Friday pilgrimage and I’ve always gotten everything on my list. πŸ™‚

Not too much as I didn’t want to get out of hand. I also bought 2 of the Tarte packs to give away as gifts. Since those are already being wrapped up, I decided not to include them.

1. Origins Task Maskers

Price: $12 CAD

Funny story about this one. I was the 10th person in line before the Sephora in my area opened. Once everyone was let in, people just started grabbing things. Once things had sort of started to settle down, I noticed the last one of these sets was being grabbed. How disappointing. So I asked an associate who said she didn’t think there were any left. :/ Didn’t really believe her, but what can you do. I paid for my purchase and left. I noticed that the cashier hadn’t taken off my 10% off VIB welcome discount which I was saving for this purchase. As I was going back in, I noticed an associate refilling these, so I was able to get one. πŸ™‚ Worked out that I was able to use my 10% off and get all the things that I wanted. πŸ™‚

I have never tried anything from Origins before so I thought that this would be a good starter kit! Can’t wait to try it out!

2.  Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Sampler

Price: $12 CAD

I didn’t get this last year just cause I thought it was unbelievably expensive for these itty bitty hair things. I don’t usually buy special shampoos, so I was hesitant.  One of my friends bought this last year and ABSOLUTELY LOVED it. Like, loved it so much that she bought the full size. And that is a pretty penny to spend on shampoo! Wanted to see what all the hype was for and try it for myself!

3. Formula X The Two in Juju & Voodo

I was glad to have gotten these ones. I don’t have any Formula X polish and nothing in these colours either. I thought they would be a perfect addition to my collection and that blue will look so nice during this snowy and cold weather!

So there is my haul. I got exactly what I wanted and didn’t overspend at all. πŸ™‚ I can’t wait to try everything out!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Haul: Grad Picture Necessities

Wow so I have been haul-ing quite a bit lately. My wallet is crying. ;_; To tell you the truth, I didn’t really want to buy a new foundation. If I can go to IMATs, I was actually hoping to purchase this there as  know it is cheaper. Unfortunately desperate times call for desperate measures!

The day before my grad pictures, I was doing my makeup and I was thinking about what I should do for them foundation-wise. It then dawned on me that I really don’t have a foundation without SPF in it. How convenient, haha. So I thought I should head out to Sephora to see what I could rustle up.

They did the Colour IQ on me to see what would work. This is my 3rd time doing the Colour IQ and unfortunately my results were as dismal as prior times. I think I had 4 matches and they weren’t exact matches either. The girl who was helping me seemed pretty knowledgeable though. Her recommendation was the MUFE HD with a Sephora pressed powder to mattify and darken if need be. After about 40 minutes in Sephora I ended up getting both.

And that’s my story of the day. :p The funny thing is that I’ve tried samples of the MUFE HD (in this colour) awhile ago. It worked out okay then, but the colour match was throwing me for a bit of a loop and I felt like I would get very oily throughout the day. Hopefully the powder will definitely help with this!

With these purchase I also made VIB status. Shiny card….

Also, this month is my birthday month so I was able to pick up my birthday gift. It’s funny, because my birthday is so late in the year, you have to wait a while to pick up your birthday gift that they release in January. Soon enough Sephora will be releasing the birthday gift for next year!

1. Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation in 120

Price:  $49 CAD

So this is the foundation I ended up getting for my grad photos. Multiple sales associates said that this was the best choice for any HD photoshoots or video shoots. So far I’m liking it, but I still do find I get oily in my T-zone throughout the day. I also find if you are a bit heavy handed, then it can look really cakey. I do have to admit, my grad pictures turned out great! Now I don’t need to pay an extra fee for retouching…haha. That price tag though…*dies*

2. Sephora Collection 8 Hr Mattifying Compact Foundation

Price: $27.50 CAD

So far I’m liking this as well. My other pressed powder is very old (but still decent enough I guess) so it was nice to switch it up a bit. When the associate at Sephora was helping me, she suggested this or a loose powder by MUFE. I asked her which one was cheaper and she told me it was this one. After spending so much on the foundation I was inclined to go towards the cheaper one. πŸ™‚ I’ve never used this as a full face foundation, I would be interested to try that out. Right now I have just been using a very slight amount in my T-zone to control oil.

3. Birthday Gift!

Price: Free for Beauty Insiders!

I can’t wait to try out the lipstick!! πŸ™‚ Not a fan of mascara in general so I will probably give it away.

I’m curious to see how the MUFE foundation will do during the winter as my skin gets a lot drier. I guess time will tell.

Thanks for reading, have a wonderful day!

Haul: My First 500 pt Redemption at Sephora- Caudalie

Hi there!

So even though I have a love-hate relationship with the Sephora Beauty Insider/VIB program as read here, I have to admit that it definitely adds a bit of excitement to my shopping trips. I always eagerly try to rank up points to see what I can redeem for. From a recent shopping trip, I was able to make it to VIB level! Not sure if that should be celebrated or shunned, but anyways, that will be featured on an upcoming blog post soon.

Usually when I redeem by Beauty Insider points, I try to go for the 100pt items. I feel that this way I can curate the items to exactly what I want. Since the 500pt perks are groupings of items, I’m always worried that I will waste the points on something that I don’t really want (aka mascara).

I finally decided to take the plunge awhile back when they came out with this Caudalie set. I’ve used the brand before and thought that this would be a nice way to spend my points. Unfortunately, this kit is no longer available as Sephora cycles through new 500pt perks every month. Here’s what the set contains:

1. Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet

So far I have liked this. It has a very serum-y consistency which is interesting. It feels a lot lighter than any other regular cream I’ve tried, but still manages to moisturize nicely.

2. Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum

Funny story about this one. This is the last product I tried in the kit and I expected it to be the same consistency as the other creme products in the kit. To my surprise when I tried to squeeze some out, I got it all over my dresser. Smooth. Real smooth. The consistency is very liquidy and watery. I’ve been using this for some problem dry areas and it has been helping.

3. Vinosource S.O.S Morning Eye Rescue

I always forget about eye creams even though I shouldn’t. This one is a similar consistency to the Moisturizing Sorbet, but just more concentrated. Not really sure what it’s supposed to do, but it makes my under-eyes feel moisturized and refreshed.

4. Makeup Removing Cleansing Water

I have to say, when I first used this I was wholly unimpressed. I expected it to be a makeup removing agent and it wasn’t at all. From a full face of makeup, it didn’t remove anything. I would say this is more of a toner rather than makeup remover. I’ve used this after I’ve removed my makeup with a wipe and it seems to help get that last extra gunge off. In the right context, I’ve started to like this product!

So there is my first 500pt perk. I’m pretty happy that I redeemed for this. I’ve been able to use every single item and I hope to use them throughout winter when my oily combination skin becomes much drier.

Hope you are having a lovely day!

Haul: Big Cumulative Sephora and Ulta Haul

Hi there,

August was a good month for beauty purchases (but not really for blogging ;_;). My friend and I went to Sephora to take advantage of the bonus points event, and then right after I went to the States. Being able to get things at a cheaper price at Sephora and looking at Ulta was golden. πŸ™‚ I thought I would share what I picked up.

1. Canadian Bonus Points Sephora Haul

Canadian Sephora Haul

  • Meet Your Match – Nail and Lip Kit – $30 CAD

I was debating the Meet Your Match kit for the longest time. I heard that the orchid BITE lip gloss smelled really bad, so that kinda turned me off. After awhile though, I just couldn’t take it and had to have it. :p I haven’t tried any of these brands other than Tarte, so I thought it was worth the price for me. I like everything except the nude nail polish (unfortunately). It’s really tacky and hard to apply. Good news though, the BITE gloss doesn’t smell all that bad. Maybe it will ferment though, we shall see.

    • Give Me Some Lip – $30 CAD

This was more of an impulse buy for me. I’ve seen it online and thought how nice it would be, but didn’t think I would pick it up. I guess in the whirlwind of bonus points, I ended up getting it. πŸ˜‰ I’m very happy with this. This kit contains a lot of higher end brands with many different colours and formulas. I thought I wouldn’t like it because I’m not much of a gloss person, but this kit turned me into a gloss person. Unfortunately, the only thing I don’t love is the full sized Smashbox lip gloss. The colour is this weird nude pink that just makes me look like I just stepped out of the coffin. Attractive.

      • Sephora Instant Nail Polish Remover Wipes

I picked these up because I ran out of my Josie Maran Bear Naked Wipes. So far they work, but I notice they dry out SO quickly so you have to work fast. Within 30 seconds, you’re left holding a stiff Kleenex!

      2. US Sephora and Ulta Haul

      US Sephora + Ulta Haul

      • Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover – $14 USD

Needed a new makeup remover, so I thought I would pick this up. I bought a mini version of this last year, so I knew the formula was legit. For the price too, it’s nice! The only thing is that I wish the top had a larger opening….I find myself waiting forever to have the product come out onto my cotton pad!

        • Ole Henriksen Oil Free Pore Refining Cleansing Cloths – $15 USD

I was going to buy these in my Canadian spree, but didn’t cause of price. $15 USD isn’t much cheaper, but I thought might as well. πŸ˜› I’ve just started to use these actually. Very different and interesting. They smell like Vicks Vaporub which is the weirdest thing! I like that they have an exfoliating side though for after you remove your makeup.

          •  Glam Glow Youthmud Treatment – $19 USD

This was something else I was going to buy on the bonus points event in Canada, but didn’t up picking it up. The friend I went with did though, and we tried it right after we got home. It’s so intriguing! Still using it, and I’m liking it! πŸ™‚ Not sure about the full size though, it just seems so expensive…

          • It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin – ~$19 USD? (Lost the receipt)

This is the one thing I picked up from Ulta. It came with a sample conditioner too which I thought was cute. Target in Canada has the It’s a 10 line, but I haven’t seen this one stocked (just the original one). I bought this last year when I went to the States and really liked it.

And there we go! After this haul, I’m not sure if I’ll be buying anything anytime soon (so I say!). Lots of new products to try and enjoy!

Hope you have a great day! πŸ˜€

          Haul: Warehouse Cosmetics Sale

Hello hello! It has been a while! πŸ™‚

Today I finally got a chance to check out a warehouse cosmetics sale that Shawna from On A Chalkboard blogged about here. I’m happy that I was able to look before it closes in 8 days!

Here are the things I picked up:

          1. Sally Hansen Salon Effects French Mani

          Price: $2 CAD

I’ve used these Salon Effects before and I thought they were really great quality. I’m excited to try these cause of the sparkly tips. Gotta love that sparkle.

          2. Essie nail polish in Parka Perfect and In Stitches

          Price: $3 CAD each

The nail polish was kind of a hit or miss. Some bottles seemed really messy but others looked okay. They had Essie, Nicole by OPI (specifically saw the Selena Gomez line), and Sally Hansen. I don’t have any colours similar to these, so I thought it was worth it.

          3. L’Oreal Color Riche Nail Lingerie

          Price: $3 CAD

Another set of nail stickers. I thought these looked super pretty and they can be layered over any colour. Excited to see how these nail stickies will wear!

          4. Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

          Price: $4 CAD

Funny enough, I don’t actually love love these wipes. I always seem to either find them on sale, or get samples for free. They work well enough though so decided to buy another pack. :p

And there we have it! I didn’t buy any makeup really, I didn’t see anything that I loved. I’ve been eyeing one of the palettes from the new Jason Wu for Lancome collection, so maybe it’s for the best that I save my money. πŸ˜‰
