A few weeks ago I got dolled up and attended Prom 2.0 with some of my favourite beauty blogging ladies. NYX held a Prom event to promote their new CF Eaton Centre store opening in downtown Toronto. The decor, the music, the food, and the people were just fantastic! I had a great time and thought I would share the experience with you all!
So I have a very special event recap for today! One week ago, my friend Leah and I had the pleasure of attending a CityLine taping! For those that don’t know, CityLine is a morning lifestyle talk show. The taping I got to attend was all thanks to Dave Lackie. He’s a beauty editor with a huge online presence. He recently had a Twitter contest to win tickets to a taping, specifically a Fashion Friday edition. During Fashion Friday the segments are all featured around beauty and fashion which is totally right up my alley. The morning was a super duper fun experience! They had a lot in store for us!

Hi there! Let me start of by saying that Wet n Wild is a brand that holds some significance in my beauty world. Specifically I have two memorable and distinct experiences with them. My first memory is from when I was in middle school and didn’t wear a speck of makeup. I was into painting my nails at this point though, and I had a THING for a Wet n Wild black nail polish. I guess it was my goth phase or something? It was probably the most I’ve ever gotten out of a nail polish before!
My second story is a bit more recent. After discovering the love that is the Wet n Wild Mega Last lipsticks which you can read about here, I realized that I needed a lip liner for them. So where do I go? I go to MAC to buy a lip liner that is probably triple the price. Only I would love a drugstore lipstick so much that I insist on buying a lip liner to enhance it. I can’t explain it either folks.
Anyways, last week I had the pleasure of attending the Wet n Wild 2016 Spring preview and thought I would give you the lowdown on some of their new things and the overall event!
