Hello! I’ve had a couple of skincare things on the go, and I’m starting to get ready to share my thoughts! I was sent the Keys Soulcare Promise Serum and the Radiant Eye Cream to see what I thought. Keys Soulcare is an Alicia Keys skincare brand that apparently has been brought to life with the help of e.l.f? Yup, that e.l.f! This really surprised me! So without further ado, let me get into my thoughts.
About the Brand
So as mentioned, Keys Soulcare was created with Alicia Keys and Dr. Renee Snyder, a board certified dermatologist. The line isn’t massive but they have a couple of key skincare and body care items. Each item lists what their hero ingredient is, for example the Promise Serum contains Niacinamide and the Eye Cream has…peptides? Haha.
I would consider this a more mid level price point. Definitely not drugstore affordable, but definitely not with the likes of Drunk Elephant or others. It is on the higher end of that spectrum though. Price definitely doesn’t mean always effective though! One thing I really like about this brand is the packaging. Again, packaging does not always correlate to the effectiveness of the product, but I can’t help but call it out. The products are housed in deep purple glass jars and bottles. There is definitely an air of sophistication and looks really great with my other skincare products.
Keys Soulcare Promise Serum
The Keys Soulcare Promise Serum ($40 CAD) is a a brightening face serum with Niacinamide and snow mushroom. Its supposed to brighten, reduce the look of pores and also control oil. After some use with this, I would say it took me while to really see any results with this. I noticed my skin was purging slightly with this on my forehead, but nothing crazy (I had way worse purging with the retinol I’ve been using)! I would say for both of the claims of pore minimization and brightening, it was ok. I would say I barely noticed a difference to be honest. It’s a decently pleasant serum to use though. Even though it’s marketed as fragrance free, I found it had a plastic-y smell to it. Nothing horrible, but to be honest, I would have preferred a scented product to this smell. It has quite a sticky consistency when applied, but most serums do. All in all, I can see myself continuing to use this, but I’m not sure I could whole heartedly recommend it (especially for the price).
Keys Soulcare Radiant Eye Cream
The Keys Soulcare Radiant Eye Cream ($46 CAD) is a thick eye cream with peptides, sunflower seed oil and apparently gold foil? Fancy! I quite enjoyed this eye cream. I actually don’t really utilize an eye cream in my normal skincare routine, but I did quite enjoy using this one. It is very very thick and very moisturizing. I did notice my undereye area was much more moisturized after use. I will definitely continue to use this one up. The only big thing about this is obviously the price point. $46 is pretty dear indeed. I would say though in terms of some of the other eye creams I’ve used (like Inkey List), this one definitely feels more substantial and considerably moisturizing.
Promise Serum – Radiant Eye Cream
Overall, I’m pretty happy with the Keys Soulcare products I got to try out. The products are super luxurious. I would be interested in trying more products from the line, but the price point is quite substantial. The other thing is the availability of the products. They are sold through their website and also Ulta (which unfortunately is not available in Canada). If they become more widely available, I’d definitely look into some other products in the line.
Thanks for reading! Hope you have a great day!

Oooh – I’m not interested in too many celebrity brands, but I would certainly try these! It sounds good!
Yeah! I was pretty impressed with what I tried, but not necessarily mind blowing. I can’t help but really really love the packaging!
