I am not a horror girly. 👻 So I wasn't sure how much I'd like this, but it's a 5 star read for me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I finished Bat Eater and Other Names for Cora Zeng by @kylieleebaker and I know this one will stay with me for a while. The writing is just incredible and by the end I felt like I deeply knew Cora as a character and a protagonist. The book is set in New York City, and smack dab in the pandemic. The horror elements felt expertly woven in, both from a supernatural perspective and a crime perspective.

I was very lucky to receive a digital ARC for this. I'm definitely going to pick up a copy once it releases April 29, 2025 in the US/CA! 🗓️

I still haven't brought down my luggage after my recent trip so thought it made for the perfect prop for ✈️ Love at First Flight ❤️ by @jowatsonwrites! This book sounds right up my alley with an air traffic controller and pilot going on a fake dating adventure to a 10 year school reunion. Hijinks (and love) ensue I assume? Can't wait to read this one!
