As the holidays approach, makeup and beauty seem like a natural choice for gifting. There’s such a variety out there which is awesome but also daunting. I got sent a package from Farleyco with perfect, budget-friendly options for a stocking or gift exchange!
Ecotools Start the Day Beautifully Kit
All the brushes in my collection are budget. I almost refuse to spend a lot of money on brushes because I think there are some great options available at the drugstore. Ecotools is one of those brands. I have a few brushes from them and I LOVE them. They’re super fluffy and well made. This Start the Day Beautifully Kit ($18.99) is a perfect starter kit or of course great additions to any collections. It comes in a nice reuseable tin too that you can keep the brushes or other product in. You can find Ecotools at select London Drugs, Rexall, Sobeys or Lawtons Drugs.
Real Techniques Mini Multitask Brush and Pocket Expert Organizer
Speaking of amazing drugstore brushes, lets talk a bit on Real Techniques. This brush brand from beauty guru fame Nic and Sam, is definitely my favourite brush brand in general! The Mini Multitask brush ($8.99) has a full sized head but with a mini handle. Perfect for travelling or a cute stocking stuffer. The Pocket Organizer ($14.99) is a great organizational tool for small spaces like condos. I can see this being very good for powder rooms that have counters with no space. I haven’t decided which bathroom I want to try this on (or maybe in my beauty room) but can’t wait to put it up! You can find Real Techniques at certain Walmart, Rexall and London Drugs.
7th Heaven Pink Guava Peel Off Mask
Another really great stocking stuffer are face masks. 7th Heaven masks are super affordable and easy to find. They have so many different varieties, so you can definitely bundle them together to make a cute gift. The Pink Guava Peel Off MaskΒ ($1.99) definitely intrigues me. I’ve used 7th Heaven peel off masks before and been pretty successful. I can’t wait to see the bright pink colour on this one! 7th Heaven can be found at London Drugs, Rexall, Pharmasave and Brunet.
Flexitol Very Dry Skin Cream
A must in winter is cream to sooth dry itchy skin. I’ve been using the Flexitol Very Dry Skin CreamΒ ($12.99) and so far I’m super impressed. My legs get extremely scaly in the winter and this has been helping a lot. I love the consistency of this, it’s almost gel-like? This doesn’t feel or sit on your skin greasy and sinks in fast. Exactly what I look for in a cream! I’ll definitely be using this throughout the season! Flexitol can be found at Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Rexall, Well.ca, and London Drugs.
I would definitely recommend any of these products if you’re looking for a secret santa gift or even just want to get yourself something for the season! Hope this gave you a bit of inspiration! Thanks for reading! Have a great day!
