As most of you know, I have a constant battle with my hair. The frizz doesn’t quit! I’m always looking for new hair care products, so I was very excited to check out the relaunched line from Schwarzkopf Professional, BC Bonacure! The line is unique because it incorporates traditional skin care ingredients into the products! Too cool!
The event was really nice, they had little stations explaining the entire line and the benefits.
BC Hyaluronic Moisture Kick
The first table we visited explained the Moisture line which has Hyaluronic acid in it! It’s supposed to help add moisture back to the hair and also give it shine! This line smelled so so good. It was very lightly fragrant and definitely one my favourite smelling collection out of the group!
BC Collagen Volume Boost
Next up was Volume Boost! Collagen is the skin care ingredient that’s used to help pump up thin hair! My hair is super thick and volumuizing isn’t a hair concern for me, but they had injectable donuts and collagen smoothie shots. so I’m down!
BC Repair Rescue
Next up is the really large line for damaged hair. This one was cool because they use peptides to help fill in the damage from styling or heat product can create. This one piqued my interested because I’m not always great with protecting my hair from damaging heat. They had a couple of really great demos with jenga blocks (the unfilled portions where blocks weren’t present was the damage in your hair).
BC Q10+ Time Restore
For aging hair, the Time Restore line is recommended. The Q10+ is used to help in the production of keratin to bring life back to the hair! Again, not a specific concern I have, my hair is very full, but a great line for those interested!
BC pH 4.5 Color Freeze
Next up is the line for colour treated hair. This one actually uses pH levels to maintain the colour. They had an interesting experiment with having the slightly acidic pH level (4.5) the colour was maintained in the fibres. It looked stronger and more vivid! Very cool!
BC Keratin Smooth Perfect
Last but not least is the Smooth Perfect line! This one was the most interesting to me because of my frizzy hair! This line contains keratin to help smooth down loose flyaways and other unrulyness. This is the line I decided to take home for myself!
All in all, the event was super fun, and it was interesting to learn more about the BC Bonacure line. I think it’s so interesting that all the hair products incorporate skin care into them. I’ve been using the Smooth Perfect line for a bit now and really love it! It has a light apple scent and does work to help tame my frizz! It’s not by any means a silver bullet, but I did notice less frizz!
And I leave you with a super extra picture of myself at the event, haha!
Thanks for reading! Have a great day!
