I'm currently reading and enjoying this one now (about half way through). The story centers around Noelle, a true Torontonian who is diligent at work, keeps to herself and doesn't believe in love after a breakup. After going to a night market, she eats some dumplings that stick her in a time loop, living the same day every single day. She keeps running into Cam, someone who always happens to appear but doesn't quite remember her. Looking forward to seeing how this one ends!

I am not a horror girly. 👻 So I wasn't sure how much I'd like this, but it's a 5 star read for me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I finished Bat Eater and Other Names for Cora Zeng by @kylieleebaker and I know this one will stay with me for a while. The writing is just incredible and by the end I felt like I deeply knew Cora as a character and a protagonist. The book is set in New York City, and smack dab in the pandemic. The horror elements felt expertly woven in, both from a supernatural perspective and a crime perspective.

I was very lucky to receive a digital ARC for this. I'm definitely going to pick up a copy once it releases April 29, 2025 in the US/CA! 🗓️
