I recently made a purchase with Leah from Colourpop. The reason we made an order together was to get to the free shipping minimum. Funny enough, when everything was said and done, we both had purchased enough to reach free shipping on our own. Whatcha gonna do?? I haven’t purchased from Colourpop in awhile (not since they released their pressed shadows!) so there were a lot of things on my list! I’m so excited to show you what I picked up!
No Filter Foundation
I hadn’t researched the No Filter Foundation much, but it was so freakin’ cheap I couldn’t resist. It was so hard to colour match. I got the colour Light 65 which is described as “warm foundation with golden yellow undertones for light skin tones”. Unfortunately it’s a bit too dark for me. 🙁 I have worn this though and it’s a pretty solid formula. I got a tad shiny, but definitely nothing crazy!! For the price, I’m definitely impressed!
No Filter Concealer
I am super impressed with the Colourpop No Filter Concealer in Light 18. The only thing was that it was a lot lighter than I expected. Using it under the eyes works great though. It’s super creamy and easy to blend! In general, I’ve been very impressed with the complexion items from Colourpop! The prices are still amazing, better than drugstore. Go Colourpop go!
Dream St Palette
The Colourpop palettes all look amazing, but the Kathleen Lights Dream St Palette drew my eye immediately. Rose golds and glitter always drew me in, but the pops of colour with the bright pinks and deep blues are just stunning. For my first pressed Colourpop palette I’m super impressed. I’ve only used a couple of colours, but so far, the pigmentation is great! A lovely addition to my collection!
Lux Lipsticks
Little League
C’mon Sis
I got two of the lux lipsticks to try, Little League (matte) and C’mon Sis (creme). I’ve heard nothing but good things on these lipsticks so I thought doing one of each finish would be a good start. Both lipsticks last a very long time for a bullet lipstick. The matte goes on interesting. A light swipe and you have massive pigment. The Creme lipstick goes on similarly to a regular lipstick, with a bit more pressure needed for colour. As mentioned, both wear really well throughout the day, but near the very end my lips are feeling a bit dry.
All in all, I’m super happy with this Colourpop haul! I haven’t bought from them in so long and was able to add a lot of really key items to my collection!
Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!
