My last review was from my Disney Springs haul, and I’m continuing the trend. Today I have a first impressions of the Supergoop! But First, Sunscreen kit. I picked this up mostly because I’ve heard so many good things about the brand and they don’t sell it in Canada! 🙁 I was curious to test if the hype was real or not and this little kit seems like a great way to see!
This kit contains three products:
- Unseen Sunscreen
- Super Power Sunscreen Mousse
- Defense Refresh Setting Spray
Unseen Sunscreen
The Unseen Sunscreen was a real surprise for me! I expected it to look like any other white sunscreen, but this is actually the consistency of a silicon primer! It has SPF 40 which is amazing and the product just completely changes the game for me. I know a lot of people sometimes skip SPF because it’s a bit of a hassle with makeup. This is such an easy (and super effective way) to integrate SPF into your routine. It feels just like the Smashbox Photofinish Primer which is one of my favs. The best part for me is that it’s clear and sets matte! Definitely a rare thing to find with SPF!
Super Power Sunscreen Mousse
Speaking of surprising products, the Super Power Sunscreen Mousse totally fits that bill too. The mousse comes out fluffy and very airy. I used this on my body when I was trying it, but you could totally use it on your face. The mousse completely MELTS into your skin. It was such a cool feeling! This one (even though white) did not leave any residue or white cast. My skin really did feel more moisturized, and in general the product is super fun! Definitely can’t way to use this more in the summer months!
Defense Refresh Setting Spray
Last up is the Defense Refresh Setting Spray. This one’s package is in collab with Milly? Not too sure what that is, but it’s super cute! This is very similar to the Coola Makeup Setting Spray I have. I find this can get a bit messy and can make surfaces it touches kinda greasy. Reading reviews, apparently this is a nightmare if it gets in your hair. When I used it, I didn’t get it in my hair, so I can’t comment on that. I think the best use for this would be on-the-go application if you’re doing a full day outside and have makeup on. I’m a huge fan of spray sunscreen in general, so I can see myself popping this in my bag for outdoor adventures.
A totally bare arm, cause no residue! :p
And there are my first impressions of the But First, Sunscreen kit. All in all I’m so happy I picked this up. I can totally see myself using all the products this summer. The products are innovative and work perfectly. Huge con for me is that I don’t have regular access to the brand. 🙁 Boo hoo!
Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!
