Empties: Two Foundations?!

It feels like FOREVER since I’ve done an empties and it definitely shows. My bag was overflowing with stuff so it was definitely time! I think this is one of my biggest empties ever, so buckle up!

Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel*
Repurchase: Maybe

I have my full review of the Vichy Normaderm line here if you’re interested. Long story short, I liked this cleanser, and it seemed to keep my acne at bay. But it wasn’t any different than other good cleansers I’ve used before!

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation
Repurchase: Maybe

I finally used this foundation up which I bought for my grad photos. I’m not sure if I’ll buy another bottle of this just because I found a new favourite in Inglot’s HD Perfect Coverup Foundation.

Sonia Kashuck Remove – Eye Makeup Remover
Repurchase: If I can!

It took me a while to use this up, but it’s definitely one of the best eye makeup removers I’ve used! Unfortunately since Target flew the coop, It’s hard to find. So the next time I can in the states, I’ll definitely be picking up more.

Weleda Evening Primrose Body Wash*
Repurchase: No

This body wash was good in the sense it kept my skin smooth and clean, but I wasn’t really a fan of the scent.

Batiste Dry Shampoo
Repurchase: Yes

I love Batiste and it’s my go-to. I always have a bottle ready in case of emergency! I did a versus post on some dry shampoo which you can find here.

Mary Kay Be Delighted Body Wash*
Repurchase: Probably not

I enjoyed this body wash a lot. It was probably the thickest body wash I’ve ever used and dispensed similar to a cream. It was super moisturizing! Due to the price though, I’m not sure if I would purchase again versus my regular Dove body wash.

Kat Von D Lock-It Color Correcting Eyeshadow Primer
Repurchase: Yes!

I actually really liked this primer. I feel like it wasn’t super popular but I actually really liked the concealer look it gave. It’s actually on sale right now for $18 CAD! Maybe I’ll pick it up after the holidays and my wallet has had time to recover!

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer
Repurchase: Maybe

I did a full review of this foundation back in 2014. It was actually one of my first reviews. How crazy! I FINALLY finished it and my thoughts in the review still ring true! I would consider buying this again!

L’Occitane Shea Hand Cream
Repurchase: Yes

I thinkkkk this is one that I actually got for free from some promotion (but I have a couple ready as backups). This is such a good hand cream to carry around on the go. I find it’s more moisturizing than most so it’s good for these winter months!

Simple Micellar Wipes
Repurchase: Probably not

These wipes were so-so. They worked decently, but I still felt like they didn’t take off all my makeup. Good in a pinch, but I don’t think I’d spend my money on them again.

Joe Fresh Cotton Pads
Repurchse: Maybe!

When I went to Twitter to ask what some recommendations for cotton pads were, a lot of people suggested these! I liked them! If I get them again on a good price, i’ll go for them!

Kirkland Daily Facial Towelettes
Repurchase: Sure!

These face wipes are cheap and they work decently. I’m not a fan of the smell, but they do work. Since they’re cheap, i’ll probably end up picking up some more.

Minis

Verb Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner
Repurchase: Maybe

This is the first time I’ve tried stuff from Verb and I was impressed. The formulations are good and they do work well. I brought these on vacation and they were perfect as I was getting off and on planes, and switching from hotel to hotel!

L’Occitane Shea Hand Cream
Repurchase: Yes

Briogeo Don’t Dispair, Repair!
Repurchase: Maybe

I like this deep conditioner a lot. It was very hydrating, smells great and did make my hair feel super soft. The only thing is that it’s kinda pricey!

Sheet Masks

The Solution Nourishing Face Mask
Repurchase: Yes!

I find that The Solution brand from THEFACESHOP always have sheet masks that fit my face really well! I’m so happy with them, and are always happy to pick any of them up!

Boo Bamboo Charcoal Anti-Aging* and Hydrating* Sheet Masks
Repurchase: Maybe!

I was pretty impressed with these face masks! I liked the hydrating one more than the anti-aging one. Both were easy to apply and made my skin feel nice and soft after use!

Dr. Belmeur Daily Repair Soothing Gauze Sheet Mask
Repurchase: NO

I was NOT happy with this sheet mask at all. I actually couldn’t even keep it on for more than 5 minutes. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch, but it felt really really gross on my skin. It was slimy and just felt messy. I would definitely not recommend this for me at least.

Soo Ae Purifying Black Charcoal Sheet Mask
Repurchase: Yes

I liked this sheet mask. It was similar to the Boo Bamboo charcoal masks as mentioned above. I find the charcoal sheet masks always make my skin feel really soft and nice!

Foil Packets

Mary Kay TimeWise Vitamin C Activating Squares*
Repurchase: Maybe!

I have a full review here about these skin care buddies. I would actually consider repurchasing these. I did notice a difference with these activating squared mixed with a serum. My skin felt soft and glowing after each night of use! The only thing is you don’t get very many of them in a pack so this makes them sorta pricey compared to other skin care.

Glam Glow Super Mud Clearing Treatment
Repurchase: Maybe!

I like this Glam Glow mask. It’s targeting and I think it’s a good match for my skin type.

Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Balm to Oil 
Repurchase: Maybe!

This is a pre-shampoo oil which I found super interesting. It’s very oily (obviously) and I feel like it’s perfect for a pre-shampoo treatment. I did notice my hair felt smooth and soft after all was done. I’m just not sure how much I would actually end up using it if I did buy it full size.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
Repurchase: Maybe…

I always try and choose this as a foil sample cause I do like this cleanser. It’s such a good base cleanser. Butttt for the price….not too sure if I would purchase just because there are a lot of cleansers that I regularly enjoy that are much cheaper!

So that’s it! Wow if you’re still with me, that was a LOT of empties! I need to do these more often so they don’t get quite so out of hand!
