Hi friends! I’ve been trying a lot of skincare, I know, but this was a line that I was really looking forward to digging into. Dr. Belmeur is a relatively new line to THEFACESHOP. Dr. Belmeur has products for different skin types with their Daily Repair (dry) and Clarifying (combo-oily). I have three items from the Clarifying line today that I’ve been trying out. I also have a giveaway for you to win the exact set of products featured!
1. Dr. Belmeur Clarifying Bubble Foam Cleanser
First up is the Dr. Belmeur Clarifying Bubble Foam Cleanser. This is supposed to provide a deep clean in a fun foam look. I’m very happy with this cleanser. I love how thick the foam is and I definitely feel that I do get a deep clean. I notice this has a bit of a ‘clean’ ‘medicinal’ scent which is okay in a cleanser. The scent is actually all natural with tea tree leaf oil, bergamot fruit oil, rosemary leaf oil, lime oil, and eucalyptus leaf oil.
2. Dr. Belmeur Clarifying Toner
The Dr. Belmeur Clarifying Toner was a bit of a dark horse for me. I have used toners here and there, but never really stuck to one. This one I can definitely see myself using regularly though. It was crazy to see that even after cleansing or taking off my makeup, I would always get a bit of residue on my cotton round. This helped to remove excess sebum and tighten my skin just a bit. I would say you would probably need to use a moisturizer afterwards or your skin could get a bit dry. Otherwise this has definitely found a home in my routine.
3. Dr. Belmeur Clarifying Moisturizer
The Dr. Belmeur Clarifying Moisturizer is another product that I was easily able to integrate into my skincare routine. It’s a gel formula which I LOVE. I find these are the best for my skin as they usually sink in really quickly and provide a bit of a cooling feeling on the skin.
Final Verdict
I really like this skin care line. These are good, clean, salt-of-the-earth skincare products that are able to integrate into anyone’s routine. They cleaned my skin so well without stripping them. I didn’t have any new pimples as I’m using this line so that’s good. I have an under-the-skin hormonal acne bump, but I can say while using these products, it didn’t actually reach the surface (yay!). If you do have more prominent acne I would give this line a try. It definitely cleans without irritating and I think that could help those with a bit more severe skin issues.
GIVEAWAY
Now to the fun part! I’m giving someone the chance to win a full set of the three products I featured in this post. I’m also going to include a few THEFACESHOP sheet masks as a bonus.

This giveaway is INTERNATIONAL! THEFACESHOP was kind enough to provide me with this prize, but I’ll be shipping this out myself. I will make every effort to ship out the prize, but sometimes the mail can be a jerk. I don’t hold responsibility for prizes that get lost in the mail.

I would love to try this line – I enjoy seeing what The Face Shop comes out with next! Have you seen The Simpsons line! I really want to get the Homer and Marge face masks – that would be so funny 🙂 Thanks for the contest !
Thanks for the comment Joy! OMG I have seen them! They have had a lot of really awesome collabs lately! I wanted to try and find the face masks too!!
I once tried a homemade soap that was specially designed for acne prone skin. It left me with small bumps on my forehead and temples. I would love to try these products. I’ve never heard of this brand till now.
Oh no! That sounds bad…it’s an interesting brand for sure! I had a very good experience with them!
I absolutely have to use things that are easygoing on my skin or I’ll be so red…I have red prone and sensitive skin! Ahhh!!
For sure! I have red prone skin too! For sensitivity it’s up and down for me. I’ve only had one or two really bad reactions, but otherwise okay??
tying out a friends home made bath bombs, i broke out in a nasty rash. no idea what she had in them
Oh no! Especially because it’s over your whole body!!
Charcoal face masks & body soaps really work.
Charcoal soap works to clarify and detoxify your skin without drying it out.
Yeah I’ve used a couple of charcoal items in the past and have been impressed! Good tips!
I use them mostly in winter
Oooh I have tried the Daily Repair line, but am interested in trying the Clarifying ones as well! i’m always impressed with the products I try from The Face Shop – good surprise on how affordable k-beauty products can be and how well they work@
Totally! I really like the products I’ve used from THEFACESHOP!! It definitely makes the k-beauty products accessible!
I have a foam cleanser and I’ll have to admit I haven’t been loving it!

Ah that’s too bad! Thanks for entering and good luck!
I love the look of this, I have tried a number of different products over the years as I do have acne prone skin and as a woman in her 20’s I find it harder to control then ever.

Right? I totally agree. My acne has somewhat calmed down, but I usually get hormonal spots during that time of the month. :/ Very hard to control!
I have tried a lot of different products to help me clear up my skin. I have a mild case of adult acne and my skin can have some crazy reactions to some products. These products sound very soothing and calming.
Oh darn, sensitive skin can be so annoying! I definitely agree that they are soothing and calming!
looks like it could be helpful
My new way of dealing with acne is to give up all acne products, and just use the most gentle skincare products I can find (which, knock on wood, seems to be working so far). I think my skin is both too sensitive for harsh chemicals and immune to acne treatments. It’s been about 10 years of me trying to fight it, and I’ve decided to just give in!

Ah interesting! I know this is completely different, but that similar to what I did for my dandruff. I used all these dandruff shampoos that did absolutely nothing. Then I bought some moisturzing shampoos and just better quality hair care and it helped a lot. Not completely solved, but it definitely made a difference. Oh jeez, acne is the worst!!
It actually feels really refreshing to just wash my face once in a while with only cold water in the morning!
Haha I do that too when i’m in a rush! I feel so guilty, but it’s definitely quick and easy!
My biggest skincare surprise is how much I enjoy it! I remember when I used to dread washing my face at night but now it’s such a part of my routine and I’m glad I stick to it. I always feel much better about myself after doing my skincare routine!
OMG same! It’s so annoying and hard to find something that works, but when it does, the best!
I found that regular moisturizers dry out my skin! I have to use natural products
Ah interesting! Glad you found something that worked!
It’s funny that I’ve always followed a good skincare routine but found skincare kinda boring but loved the makeup. As I’ve gotten older I look at skincare products first then makeup. I guess I’ve learned that without good skin the makeup can’t do what I want it to do.
Totally! I can definitely relate to you! I feel the same way, skincare has been becoming more and more apart of my routine!
I have really dry skin around my mouth and I don’t know how to get rid of it
Oh no! The best lip balm I’ve used is the BITE agave lip mask. It’s super moisturizing, so that might help?
i HAVE Eczema along the hair line that can be really bad
Oh really! I can imagine that would be irritating!
I’d love to try this line for my sensitive skin. thanks for the chance.
Good luck!
I am prone to combination skin and can get bouts of acne. So, I have to use products geared towards this and it sounds like this line of products may help.
Yes this line would probably work great for you! I have the same skin type and the products have been working really great for me! Good luck!
With sensitive and combination skin, skin care can be a minefield. Quality products have always had the best results.
Oh for sure, I can definitely appreciate this! I agree, sometimes you have to spend a bit more on skincare to get results! With this being said, The Ordinary skincare has definitely made a splash on the skincare scene with their very budget friendly products!
I have very sensitve skin so my face tends to get all red when trying new products.
Yeah with sensitive skin you have to definitely be careful! Makes trying new things a bit scary I’m sure!
At almost 40 I’ve just learned how much having a skin routine is. Getting old and showing it. I this sounds like a great start
Oh for sure, I get you! It’s hard to stick to, but skincare can definitely make all the difference!
I got a really bad burning flare up after trying a Clarins eye cream with spf…

I always forget how much I love a good serum. I recently started using the Dr. Roebucks serum again, and it blew me away how moisturized my skin felt this morning. And it made me so clear! Xox
I would love to win this skin line I have dry skin . It’s hard sticking with a product
I’ve never had any surprises while using skin care products, but then again I’ve yet to find any that work to fit my needs.
I love to take care of my skin, the current face cream that I’m using has boosted my skin’s hydration so that was a wonderful surprise! My skin feels softer and smoother!
