Empties: Bye Summer, Hello Fall

When my empties bag gets full, it’s time to do a post! I’ll jump right in:

Foil Packets

Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Shampoo and Conditioner
Repurchase: Maybe

I’ve tried this shampoo and conditioner before. If this is available on the Sephora samples, I’ll usually try and get it just because I do like it. The price makes it a bit of a squeeze to buy it on the regular though!

Simple Exfoliating Facial Wipes
Repurchase: No

I was NOT a fan of these wipes. They felt rough and didn’t work all that well. I would stay away from these especially if you have sensitive skin!

Kirkland Daily Facial Towelettes
Repurchase: Probably

I think they have since rebranded these, but they’re a cheap choice for wipes. These aren’t my favourite, but they do get the job done. Definitely worth it if you’re on a budget (and have a Costco membership).

Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Comfort Clear
Repurchase: YES

This is one of my favourite lip balms of all time. For some reason it works wonderfully and I’ve decided not to question it. Before Pixi came to Canada I stocked up so much in the States. Now that we have Pixi here, I thought my prayers have been answered! But instead, they were dashed. For some reason, Shoppers Drug Mart doesn’t carry the Comfort Clear shade. 🙁 I have no idea why, but this has reminded me to re-start my campaign to bring it in store! *runs off to Twitter*

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
Repurchase: Always

I will always sing the praises for this eyeliner! This one I used up is actually in the limited edition 5 year anniversary packaging. I haven’t decided if I’m gonna keep it or not #hoarder. You can see a comparison post I did of Tattoo and Ink (both Kat Von D liners) here!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
Repurchase: Probably

I find I jump back and forth between this and the NYX micro brow. They’re essentially the same thing, but the NYX one is 10x cheaper. When I’m in a pinch and need a brow product I’ll usually repurchase the ABH one. A great quality product and one I would definitely recommend (other than the price and how fast you use it up!). THEFACESHOP Real Nature Goji Berry Sheet Mask
Repurchase: Yes

I enjoyed this sheet mask! All the sheet masks from THEFACESHOP are great, but I enjoyed this one. It was super refreshing. Exactly what I want a sheet mask to do!

Earth Kiss Pure Pore Cleanse Face Mask*
Repurchase: Maybe

I was excited to try out this mask from the same folks that do 7th Heaven masks. This was a super refreshing mask which I haven’t experienced with a lot of other mud masks! I feel like I need to try it again to get a really good grasp of the benefits.

BV Spa Salt Scrub*
Repurchase: Maybe

I love BV Spa and think their scrubs are some of the best in the drugstore. The only reason I wouldn’t repurchase this is that I love their sugar scrub more. The sugar scrub gives a bit more of an abrasive scrub which I like. If you have more sensitive skin, the salt scrub might work better though.

Formula X Delete All
Repurchase: Not sure if I can!

After just sifting through the Sephora website, I don’t see any Formula X products anymore! Wow! I’m behind the times. Anyways, this was a very interesting product. It’s a sponge filled with nail polish remover with slits for 5 fingers. You stick your polished fingers in and it removes the polish! I think this worked really well actually. It lasted around 10 removals, so okay, but not better than a nail polish remover bottle.

Sudsatorium Scentsless Shampoo
Repurchase: Yes

I really enjoyed this shampoo. You can see my overview on the Sudsatorium brand here. It seemed expensive at first, but I got a lot of use out of this. It was extremely simple but cleaned my hair without stripping it. I would definitely repurchase this along with other items from Sudsatorium.

Sudsatorium Esperidoeidiphoba Conditioner
Repurchase: Maybe

I really did like this conditioner as well, but I found it didn’t give all the moisture I needed. Still an extremely solid product, but for my hair type, maybe not. I’d definitely be ready to try other conditioners from the brand though!

Sephora Collection Exfoliating and Cleansing Rose Wipes
Repurchase: Yes

I was actually really impressed with these wipes. They were quite fragrant, but did a really nice job of removing makeup. I found that the wipes were pretty saturated as well, which I can definitely appreciate. I would grab these again!

The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel
Repurchase: Yes

A staple in anyone’s shower I would say. I’m not picky with my shower gels/ body washes, but this is a nice scent. I love the smooth citrus scent as it always makes me feel super clean! I would definitely purchase again!

Swisspers Organic Cotton Rounds
Repurchase: Maybe

As with body wash, I’m not super picky about cotton rounds. They just need to keep their shape and not disintegrate, which these did not! I would repurchase them again in a pinch, but I feel like I might be able to get them cheaper!
