If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’ll know that I love love love BITE Beauty. They are probably my favourite beauty brand out there. I recently found out I was picked for the BITE x Influenster campaign revealing BITE’s new lip liners! I was ecstatic to say the least! I’m excited to share my thoughts!
For those that don’t know, Influenster is a product review club similar to Chick Advisor. Influenster is a bit more targeted to bloggers as they have certain campaign requirements that revolve around social, reviewing, etc. Campaigns can be a hit or miss (I’ve only done 2 in the 2 years that I’ve been on the platform), but I think it’s worth it for the chance to get these amazing ‘voxboxes’ as they’re called.
Back to the stars of the show! In my BITE Beauty Voxbox, I received two of their new lip liners (colours 020 and 044) and two Amuse Bouche lipsticks to use them with (Honeycomb and Whiskey). A nice touch was also a Sephora sharpener to use with the lip liners.
The lip liners are in a true ‘pencil’ format. Knowing this, I was a bit worried that the product would be very dry as I find that the twist up lip liners are a bit more moisturizing. This wasn’t the case though, I thought they were extremely creamy!
(020 – Honeycomb – 044 – Whiskey)
I’ve tried the lip liners alone and with the lipstick on top. I liked using the lip liner as a base as I felt that it added a bit more depth to the lipstick. This also increased the wear time on the lipsticks (even though I think BITE has great longevity).
Lip Swatches
020
020 with Honeycomb on top
044
044 with Whiskey on top (a bit of a spotty application on my end)
Final Verdict
I would say that if you’re looking into a new lip liner, these are very solid options. At $20 CAD, they are slightly ‘higher end’, but definitely comparable (in quality as well) to the MAC lip liner I have. Looking forward to trying to use lip liners more in my routine as I do notice a difference!
Thanks so much for reading! Hope you have a great day!

I really enjoyed my voxbox too! I found #044 to be really patchy and uneven and leans a lot more purple on me! Glad you like the formula’s thouhgh!
I find sometimes very dark bit lipsticks can be patchy (ie the mulled maple is a bit patchy on me) but I actually found this okay!! Definitely love the formula!
Yeah, I prefer creamier pencils for the same reason, that true pencils are often dry. But these sound nice!
Ohhh! I loveeee BITE beauty lip stick, I recently just got a customize one made just for myself. LOVE it. Thanks for the review!
