Zoella Beauty Review + GIVEAWAY!

Hello friends! If you’re like me, you watch tons of beauty videos online. If you’re also like me, you’ve heard the name Zoella. Since when I first started watching beauty videos god knows when, Zoella was definitely a constant name in cyberspace. She is arguably one of the most popular beauty blogger/ vloggers out there. Her empire continues to grow including books and a beauty line! Today I have a review of one product from her cosmetics line and a GIVEAWAY!

I’ve been a fan of Zoella for some time now. I feel like the reason she’s so popular is that she’s relateable, sweet, and has great camera presence. I’ve read her blog and watched her videos for awhile and it’s really interesting to see her rise to super stardom. Her book series, Girl Online, is a Young Adult novel about a girl who blogs (wonder how she came up with that?). Even with the controversy surrounding the series, I still bought it on my tablet and enjoyed it. If you’re a fan of tweeny young adult fiction, the book will probably be right up your alley! There are two books in the series at the moment.

Another area of the Zoella empire is her beauty line! I’ve actually tried a couple of things from the line, but today I’m here to review the Zoella Beauty Creamy Madly Dreamy Body Lotion!

Review

The body lotion is housed in a matte squeeze tube with metallic lettering.

The lotion itself is thick, but not quite as thick as a body butter. The scent I find very pleasant. I’ve also used the body wash in her line (Zoella Beauty Bath Soak and Shower Cream), which had the same scent. The best way I can describe it is ‘English-y’ (helpful, I know). It’s a light musky scent that wears very nicely on the skin.

The body lotion itself takes some time to work into the skin. The effort is definitely worth it though, as this is the first body lotion I’ve used that moisturizes the skin, but sinks right in. I usually never wear body lotions during the day just because they always leave that greasy feeling. This is perfect though!
