Hello there! I recently bought some brand new things from Sephora and some favourites. If you haven’t guessed from the title, what prompted me to make this purchase was the advanced notice that BITE would be retiring their luminous creme lipsticks! As of now though, BITE has released their new Amuse Bouche lipsticks which look divine. Even though I knew these new lipsticks were coming out, I NEEDED to get a couple of their older formula before they officially discontinued them! And as always, I had to pick up a few other treats to try! 😉
1. BITE Luminous Creme Lipstick in Bellini and Rose
So Bellini was a must have. I redeemed for the 250 point Sephora BITE perk some time ago and I just love it. It is by far my most complemented lipstick I have. Since I knew this exact colour wouldn’t be coming back with the Amuse Bouche collection, I had to pick up the full size. It is just the most stunning colour!
Because I’m fully a beauty blogger and limited edition things get my heart racing, I had to pick up another BITE lipstick in this old formula. I ended up getting Rose. It’s a pretty warm pink. I really like this shade and I’m glad I picked it up. It actually packs quite a punch in terms of colour which is surprising!
2. NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint in Alaska
After first hearing this debut, I was intrigued. I’m almost out of my NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, so I thought this might be a good substitute. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I’m still undecided about it. I plan to do a more in-depth review of this so stay tuned!
3. Anastasia Brow Definer in Ebony
This haul feels very trendy, I have two recently released products! I have tried (and love) the brow wiz, and thought that I would give this new one a try! It’s pretty much the same format as the brow wiz but a larger and more angular tip. At first while using it, it took a while to get used to. I think I’ve been able to get a bit better at application which is great. My brows are pretty thick and bushy (attractive I know), so I think the brow wiz is a bit better suited. But I’ll still end up using this all up!
As you can see from the top picture, my samples were the bumble and Bumble Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner (which I’ve used before), the Radical Skincare Exfoliating Pads (which I have tried in-store before), Philosophy’s Amazing Grace fragrance (not a huge fan), Dr. Brandt Needles No More (creepy name), and Tarte’s Tarteguard Sunscreen.
I redeemed 100 points for the Tarteguard (it’s always on the rewards boutique and I’ve been actually really interested to try it) but the stupid little pump won’t work. :/ It’s not that I can return it or anything either. I’ll have to try transferring it to a potted sample jar or something *sigh*
Anyways, that’s my most recent haul from Sephora! All prompted by my love of BITE lipsticks haha.
