Recently, Angela from Raincouver Beauty opened up the invite to the CBB Network to join her in a Finish 5 by Fall challenge. I was intrigued because I had never formally taken up something like this! I decided to join her and some of the other CBB ladies.
Here are the guidelines posted by Angela:
4. I’ll be using #cbbfinish5 to track my progress, and I’d love for you to use the same!
I ended up choosing technically 7 items for this challenge but 4 items are almost like pairs. Some of these things are embarrassingly old, so I am not going to post the manufacturing years. You might be able to tell from the packaging though that some of these aren’t new purchases! Here is what I chose for the challenge:
1. Maybelline Quad in Chai Latte
This is the oldest product in my challenge if not one of the oldest products in my collection. I have almost nostalgic feelings towards this as it was one of the first ‘hyped’ makeup products I ever bought. As you can see the upper right hand shadow definitely has a dent in it, but the other 3 look barely used. If I don’t finish this by the deadline I’ll be tossing it.
2. Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes
It’s actually one of my favourite liners. I got it from one of those Sephora $12 sales. Even for it being quite old, it’s still super creamy and I wear it often.
3. Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer
As you can see I’m about half way done this. Even with it being one of my most used concealers, I feel like it hasn’t really been going down.
4. BITE Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo in Fig/Date
These are the newest products I’ve picked for this challenge. Even though they seem small, I for some reason have trouble finishing lip products. Once I get close to finishing I just give up and move to the next one. Then I’m left with a barely there products which I never turn back to!
5. Bath and Body Works Paris Amour Fragrance Mist and Body Lotion
I will definitely be the first to say that I am not a fragrance person. I got these both as a gift and actually don’t mind the scent. I like Bath and Body Works, but I have SO much lotion which never gets used. I thought I would try to be more conscious in using these, especially the body spray!
So these are the items that I’m choosing for the challenge. Some items I feel more confident than others so we’ll see. I’m excited to do this challenge because I have NEVER hit pan on a product before. I’m hoping these eye shadows will be the first!

It's so hard to use up lip products! I want to include a lip butter in mine but I actually can't find it at the moment, so that makes it more difficult, haha!
Yeah! I don't know, I just never end up finishing things! I'm hoping this challenge will help me finally finish 2 (mini) lip products. I was thinking of doing a lip butter too! Aww that's too bad, I hope you are able to find it! 😀

Good luck on using them up! I'm currently in the process of focusing on several items to use up! I use them as frequently as I can especially when I'm doing my make up for work. I'm working on 2 color tattoos, a single shadow and two foundations!
I know it's pretty bad haha. When I googled it, they had actually repackaged it and everything. :S I actually used it today though and it looks halfway decent!

That eye shadow palette is great! I'm almost finished my essence quad which has pretty similar colours!
Oh my goodness, the stockpile of bath and body works perfumes and lotions are never ending! When I moved a couple months ago I purposely left about 7 bottles behind that I rarely used. (whoever moves in gets free body spray!)

Me too! haha! Thanks so much! That's actually a really great idea. I used it yesterday actually and I'm very happy how it looked actually. Its neutral enough that I can make it my everyday look, and pigmentation was okay!
Thanks Elyse! Yeah that's what i'll be using it for!! The glitter isn't so bad actually! I put it in the crease or outer corner just to add a it of a punch.
I totally know what you mean. I should actually go through my stash and throw some stuff out. If I don't force myself to use body lotions I never end up doing it! Haha that was nice of you! A little gift for the new homeowner. 😉

Thank you Whitney! 😀 Honestly they do. I'm not a huge body lotion person either so I have to consciously use them up if I want to make a dent!
I plan to! But I think I have to wait six months?… the blog is in it's baby stages still!

Good luck! Especially with the eyeshadows!! How's the Bite lipstick duo? I was thinking of picking it up in store today. Am I the only person that opens only one bottle of lotion at a time?? LOL
Thank you! I love it. So worth the money in my opinion. Really like the formula too. In between of a matte and a satin finish.
Good for you! I should do that, but for the BBW lotions they don't have a seal anyways so meh.
