Happy December everyone! I’m so happy that December is finally here even though that means exams. -_-; On the bright side though, I was able to crack into my advent calendars today!
So I thought I would do a post on the Urban Decay 500 point eyeshadow perk. When I first heard of this, I instantly knew I wanted it (along with everyone else I’m sure!). I picked this up the day of the VIB sale which meant Sephora was unbearably busy. I had already done my sale shopping in the morning so it was my second time in Sephora. The associate was super awesome and didn’t make me stand in the enormous line and just let me redeem my points. Without further ado, here is the palette:
So the perk comes with 4 eyeshadows, a liner, and a foil packet sample of their primer potion. I can see why this perk is so popular just because it comes with so much. I only own one of the Naked palettes (Naked 3) so I didn’t have too many UD dupes. I know some people were mentioning that if you have a lot/ all of the Naked palettes, it might not be the best because you’d probably have a lot of colours/ colours that are pretty close. I also have never tried the 24/7 glide on liners so personally for me I thought it would be good redemption.
The only colour that I could probably dupe in my Naked 3 is Guilt. It’s a rosy pink shade which is pretty much the whole Naked 3 palette.
I’ve used this once so far and I really like it! It didn’t show up too well in the swatch but Oilslick has a LOT of glitter in it so it’s a bit hard to wear I thought. Maybe I will try using it as a liner. 🙂
Not sure if this is still available as I never actually saw it online. I’m so glad I picked this up when I could as it seems like a really good bang for your point buck.
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Hey Melanie, good bang for your point buck for sure! We'd never EVER get something this good here! VERY occasionally there are cute miniatures that come with the purchase, but not to this scale!
Thank you Sunny! Well that's too bad! 🙁 these types of rewards should be available all over, not just in certain areas..
True true. I can see what you mean. Aww good to think on the bright side! 😀
This is definitely one of the better 500 pt perks sephora has! I bought the urban decay basics palette during the VIB sale so I skipped out on this perk!
Ohh! My friend has that and loves it! It seems like such a versatile palette. She actually uses it for her eyebrows!
Can't go wrong with an Urban Decay palette! Lovely selection of shades 🙂
Couldn't agree with you more Jennifer! I'm so happy that I got it!
That's a good value for your points! One of these days I'm going to buy a Naked palette, it will be a splurge purchase 🙂
Oh wow I'm surprised you don't have one! Naked 3 was my first high end bigger palette so it has a special place in my heart. :p you're right though in that they are pricy!
Ooooh, I'm going to have to check how many points I have on my card! I hope I have 500 since I've been hoarding my points since… forever! haha.
Oh I know exactly what you mean. You keep on saving up your points for that special thing and it just never comes! Unfortunately, I think they brought in their new 500 point perk (Clinique). But I was looking at the 100 point perks for this month and I love like, every single one. 😮 Hopefully you can spend your points on something nice! 😀
The packaging on this one is so cute, but I think you're right, there's prob a dupe for each of these amongst the many Naked palettes.
Oh my goodness I wanted this so badly and I don't even know why, it looks like a lot of UD shades I have lol
Definitely. Since I only had Naked 3 I thought it would be worth it, but I can see if you have all 3 (plus basics), this wouldn't be more than a travel palette haha.
Haha shiny-new-thing-must-have mentality? I have that mentality quite a bit myself. 🙂 I would definitely say these are very dupe-able shades lol.
wow, this is such a beautiful palette! good you purchased this:) haven't seen this palette around either…
lots of love xx

Thanks Nee! Yeah it was a limited edition perk, so I don't know if it's still around or not unfortunately!
